I've got couple of question about the legends.. in particular maracas j'deth...
- Can you * attack against your own troops to snooker an opponents caster say? I'm thinking running up a beast handler so it's a inch or so from a bullet dodging Caine and slam him over for the win?
- Taking this even further can you use the same on say your caster for a bit of a non-linear threat extender? The Morghoul's or Zaal2 with steady getting an extra potential 6' threat?!?
I'm notoriously bad at RTFM so apologize for the Q if impossible!

Yes, you can target your own models with a combo smite attack: privateerpressforums.com/showthread.php?266531-Marauders-combo-smite-clarification&highlight=combo+smiteHowever, if one of your models would be knocked down during your turn, even if they have steady they would still need to sacrifice movement or action during their activation. Under slammed, page 34: If a slammed model cannot be knocked down it must still forfeit its Normal Movement or Combat Action if it activates later in a turn in which it was slammed.Ie: 1) Yes, this would work as you have described. 2) Yes, but the caster would then have to sacrifice either Normal Movement or Combat Action when they activate.

Notably, a steady warlock who's been knocked down can sacrifice combat action, advance, and cast spells like Flashing Blade or Sunder Spirit.
