Hello,
I am seeking a bit if advice on this list. As part of my drive to get things painted I will be trying to stick mostly to what I have here.
The list was suggested over on the PP forums a while back. So not my own creation.
I do feel as if I lack a bit in terms of ranged combat, but that might be lack of skill on my part.
What changes might folks recommend?

Looks decent to me. Just remember that the Gunslingers RFP so you can't bring back the Mechanithralls that they turn into clouds.

Oh yes. They tend to shoot their Satyxis friends in the back. Haha

I see no glaring weaknesses with the list, you have armor cracking and infantry removal. Jamming and assassination threat. I am not sure the necrotech will have much to do as the deathjack will most likely be out of its range the entire game, and the lights tend to die when connected with. You may want to consider swapping him out, but that is up to you. It never hurts to have one.

Necrotech hasn't really pulled his own weight. DJ's snacking has been of more use.
Perhaps another Machine Wraith against Warmachine. And an anti -Hordes solo for that matchup.
Thank you for the replies.

Thank you for the replies. Machine Wraiths are also good targets for Scything Touch, as they can sprint around to apply it where needed.

I would probably drop the Gun-Slingers, you have enough ways of putting clouds out and RFP from the Satyxis if they are your target still denies corpses for the necrosurgeon.
Gaspy 2 has no mat fixers so I would put in a pair of raider Captains to knock stuff down and then repo out of the way for the rest of your stuff to come in.
Also Withershadow could be downgraded to a Skarlock to free up points for other things

I much prefer the Withershadow with him, the reroll is really good for his assassination game, even allowing you to not boost on the Hellfires against DEF 14.

I guess so if that's how you are intending to play him, 5 points difference is a lot though. That is one of those Raider Captains plus a spare point.

I have the worst luck with Crit effects. I actually started watching for them on the Raiders...not one in last six games...

I have the worst luck with Crit effects. I actually started watching for them on the Raiders...not one in last six games... The Raider Captain has auto-knockdown on both weapons. Never count on crit effects on 2 dice, they're just nice when it happens. Even on 3 dice, only start counting on it when you have 3+ tries for application.

I will dig out my criminally unassembled Raider Captains forthwith.
I will try swapping out the Gunslingers for a pair ( drop the Necrotech, too.)
As to the WSC I find their toolbox of abilities justifies their cost. Puppet Master, Upkeep and Spell Slave with decent ranged attacks when not assisting Gaspy1.
Thank you for the advice.
And one day I hope to remember the Sea Witch's handcannon and kill something with it! Haha

Having said all that though the gunslingers are still pretty good, with if they shoot a model under Parasite and in melee with a model with Scything Touch using Black Penny, they can get to pow 15, enough to finish things off. They can also soften casters up using Feedback ready for the assassination

Just out of curiosity, why the McThrall boat? Since Gaspy 1 doesn't have a MAT fixer I've always thought that you'd want to run accurate but low POW units with him since he can easily fix damage with Scything Touch and Parasite but can't do anything to improve chance to hit. I'd think a second unit of Raiders + UA or a unit of Bloodwitches (+UA) would be better and cheaper, especially if you're thinking of taking out the gunslingers who would have been turning the McThralls into clouds. Unless of course you were bringing them for the juicy brute combo strikes? I'm curious to hear your reasoning.
