1. Colossals move only during normal movement. Moving during activation would result sprinting \ refuging colossals. 2. Against arm 19\21 stormlance still do 12 damage on charge, Dynamo do 22 damage from shooting. I see no way for hydra to live there.

Ah bugger on the swift hunter!! My dreams are ruined lol I thought those where post activation activities..
The theory machine was that swift hunter was going to trigger against the chaff allows you to get into melee, still X2 with a gladiator the Hydra out threatens the lances they all but loose assault if the animus is up.

My wife loves the look of these things. Has anyone had any success with them?
I'd love to hear any success stories involving the desert hydra.

I've done well with the Hydra at tourney games as well as on gaming nights. Typically under Makeda1:
Makeda1 Gladiator Molik Hydra
Willbreaker Soulward
Ferox (max) Handlers (min)
The biggest Hydra synergy in this list is Jackhammer, allowing healing and clearing jam super well (Carnage and pre-activation attacks from the Hydra is incredible).
Despite my love for Xerxis2, I think I like this list more than anything else I've played with Skorne in mark3. It might have issues with SR2017, since it's low model, but it's so much fun.
