I was looking at the themes for my other factions and wondering if pigs/gators would get more theme forces. Obviously not now or any time in the next year or so, there are other things for PP to do.
The Thornfall Alliance and Blindwater Congregation are extremely broad in scope, making me wonder if there is even the intention for more. For example Mad Science or Butcher's Block theme could both be run using the rules for Thornfall Alliance- just not with the benefits you'd expect from one of the big boy faction themes.

It's been on my mind as well. On the one hand, Retaliatory Strike is a brilliant theme force benefit for a Warbeast-heavy list. On the other, I do end up playing my Warbeast spam lists 15+ points down versus my opponents.
I miss Nature of the Beast something fierce, I have to admit. I'd do terrible things for a theme force that gave a free Razor Boar for every 25 points of Warbeasts in the list, gave all Farrow warbeasts Aggressive, and... I'm not sure what the "single model" buff should be. Reposition on Targ? I sadly don't think I can expect Battle Boars to get Shield Guard. We don't have a lot of Warbeast support models though to either provide free points or be the recipients of new special rules.
Not 100% sure if that would be enough to pull me away from my Retaliatory Strike filled Arkadius list, but it would come real close.
I also just wish Midas had got a special rule on his card that let him start the game with a dead Farrow Warbeast in his battlegroup. That was hands down the coolest theme force benefit PP ever came up with, even if it has lost a lot of its synergy with the Bone Grinder change.

There are 3 'backgrounds' to farrow as I see it. All can be run in Thornfall if you want.
Tribal/traditional- less technology, emphasis on theft, ambush etc. Uses: farrow infantry, meat threshers, light warbeasts Avoids: heavy warbeasts, Targ, allies (efaarit etc).
Bone grinder/Dhunian Basically Midas' old theme.
Mad Science As you'd expect. I'd restrict it to heavies and battle boars though, the 'altered' warbeasts.
Gators have been left more room for themes. Their beasts gain nothing from Blindwater Congregation.

Splatter Boars wouldn't exist without Arkadius's mad science, so they'd be in there too That said, I don't exactly agree with those delineations. I agree that there's about three firm themes among the pig models, but some elements of tribal/traditional I'd roll into Bone Grinder. I see Thornfall more as: Mad Science (Warbeasts) Bone Grinders/Traditional (Gun Boars and Razor Boars are the only Warbeasts that fit right now, plus most of the infantry, this basically represents Warlocks like Midas leading armies that would have existed prior to the founding of the Thornfall Alliance) Militant (the tribal raiding hews closer to the mystic traditions of the Bone Grinders in my view, this theme would include the Efaarit and represent Carver and Helga's efforts to create a more regimented military. No limitations on Warbeasts one way or the other, but the focus of this theme would be Brigands/Slaughterhousers/Commandos/Razorbacks and hopefully whatever Valkyries end up being)

Could also be by geographic region.

I would like to see a theme that lets minions intermingle, Calaban / Arkadius fits the fluff.
