Very nice! I had similar experiences and thoughts when I assembled my ISA demo box models. Oh, sweet resin! What I would give for the weapons to be in resin!

Thanks mate. I generally prefer metal myself, but... yeah, I probably wouldn't have needed the pins if they were resin. Ah well.
Personally I really wish PP would design the weapons with two holes on both weapon and mount, and separate pegs. That way you could glue them on with the pegs, or glue magnets into each side without having to do any drilling and measuring. Considering how the rules allow for (almost) freely combining weapons and cortexes and things, thus creating so many different possible loadouts, I don't think it's an unreasonable request.
I will try to get some painting done tonight; I'm feeling a bit more energetic today than I have been for a while. Seriously, being at home all the time just slows my metabolism or something; my energy levels are just so low these days.

I am right there with you. The only thing that has engaged me and got me excited recently is the fact that I sort of spur-of-the-moment bought Pokémon Shield last week. I was talking about something with a friend of mine, and the topic turned to video games, which somehow turned to “I wonder if it’s even possible any more to get my Pokémon off my 20-year-old copy of Yellow (assuming the battery still worked)”, which somehow turned into him putting it his Best Buy cart, discovering it was $20 off, and me buying a copy too.
But yeah, this no-friends quarantine thing is wearing me down. I can only sincerely and genuinely wish that, after roughly tomorrow (which is Election Day in the US), we will have a government populated with responsible grown-ups who actually have an interest in protecting their citizens, so that in 9 months or so when a vaccine is available, there will still be a civil society left to enjoy.
Otherwise... I don’t know. You’ve got me, man.
Something something Warcaster hobby projects?

Speaking of Warcaster hobby projects, did you ever revist the 3D printing thing?

Well, the funny thing is that the mantlets in the current KS are basically exactly what I was thinking about making! So, no need.... They did it probably a hundred times more professionally than I could have, anyway.

Ah, that's pretty convenient then!

I had originally planned to write a battle report of my first game, but the game is too new to me and I haven't really had the time, so I settled for a brief summary with photos instead:
Maybe I'll have an easier time with the next game. I feel like it's easier to remember what happens in a Warmachine turn than in a Warcaster pulse round; or is that just me?

Did some sanding yesterday. Screwed up a couple of spots between gluing and sanding poorly, and the wood quality ain't that great, but whatever, it's supposed to hold cards not sit in a museum. Was planning to start the stain&varnish process yesterday, but ran out of energy. Might start today, if my energy ever comes back. Fingers crossed. Human interaction helps keep me motivated, so hopefully some of that will occur today.

Yeah, but I think I'm getting worse at it.

Same here. On the bright side, I mean, I impulse bought Pokémon Shield 10 days ago, and I’ve dumped 50 hours into it so far, so that is a thing. I will probably pick up the expansions this weekend.
I might even make the most mediocre progress on Warcaster stuff too!
