Gotta check, does that break copyright law at all? It's straight reading from the expansion book with no changes to the wording apart from misspeaks.

Was a little concerned because the core content didn't seem, "transformative" (can't think of a better word atm) enough for fair use.

I hope it stays up. After seeing legions of 40k lore pages with viable subscriber sizes it is cool that there is 1 Warmachine one with other growing in size. I am actually suprised that PP didn't sieze on the opportunity and put out their own high production quality lore vides with their artwork and licensed music when they were starting to get big 10-6 years ago. Missed opportunity for PP but really shows the strength of the PP community even though it is diminished.

Missed opportunity for PP but really shows the strength of the PP community even though it is diminished. Yeah, that's true. GW product lore content channels on YouTube are pretty much a dime a dozen (in terms of quantity, huge variance in quality, obviously). And most of the big ones have 6 figure sub counts and get 5 figure views per video without breaking a sweat. Even accounting for the difference in size of the respective communities, there's virtually no lore content for WMH/IK stuff. That channel you linked is pretty indicative of it given sub & view counts, which is a shame. That said, I wish he'd be more interpretive or analytical with the content though. But yeah, definitely spot on that it's a missed opportunity on PP's part. Spend a couple hours each week letting Seacat nerd out to an audience about one thing or another with music/artwork in the background would've been easy marketing for books and releases, all round out with "to know more, read [insert book titles here]". Occasional interviews with the authors (Aeryn Rudel, Larry Correia etc. etc.) or other contributors on staff would've stoked a lot more interest than Seacat's lore hangouts. They were enjoyable, true, but they were targeted at a particular audience who didn't need to be sold anything extra to. It's a pity, really.
