Are the extreme juggernauts and destroyers meant to be real scale to the infantry or is their size increase completely unrelated to the game and just a Display design change? Also, so they look cool on the board or just goofy next to normal size jacks? Thanks

Also, so they look cool on the board or just goofy next to normal size jacks? Thanks The extreme models were just meant to be huge and look cool. At the time they were created, the models had significantly more detail and articulation than the actual warjack models in existence. Heavy warjacks are roughly 12-15 feet tall, so the standard models are (more or less) correctly scaled when compared to infantry.

Also, so they look cool on the board or just goofy next to normal size jacks? They look really cool! I have 3 Extremes: a Juggernaut, a Destroyer, and a custom-made Karchev based on an Extreme Juggernaut. It's the normal-sized jacks that look ridiculous compared to the Extremes actually. Especially the old metal jacks or the Berserker chassis.

I think the extreme sculpts look fine on the tabletop alongside regular-scale warjacks. The size difference isn't that, er...extreme on the table. Of course, I think the best use of the extreme juggernaut is to use the legs with regular-scale warjacks for overall better proportions.

Bear in mind that the extreme sculpts were released before the plastic jacks. Compare them to the old metal models for a real shock.

Thank you all for the welcome and the advice!! Have a few extreme jacks I was thinking of using with a man o war list I am building. Hoping it will look good Not really a good player at competitive level (I always get my caster killed lol) Got to decide if I am going to paint these bad boys a winter theme to go with sorcha or full khador red. I was thinking white under the full moonlight with snow and rock for base but that might be a bit ambitious lol. For play I’m hoping the sorcha 3 additional dice that go to warjacks flanking with MOW will help the juggernauts out a bit along with the some mow drakuns to act as fast and hard hitting singles and the Mow caster dudes to bring some magic.

The Extreme sculpts are very nice, so I'm sure your army will look great! Red is easier to paint of course, but white can certainly look good if done well. I personally like for my models to stand out from their bases though, so white warjacks on a snowy base is probably not something I would do myself; maybe stick with a darker rocky base if you do decide on the white colour scheme. I was trying to find photos of GuitaRasmus' white Khador warjacks, which are probably my all-time favourites, but all the images seem to be lost (originally posted here and probably somewhere here).
EDIT: Turns out they are still in his blog gallery: bitteroldpainters.blogspot.com/p/warmachine-khador-project-2013-15.htmlHe also used Extreme jacks, so as you can see they can come out real nice!
