Unfortunately it is completely useless, the rules dont make any sense- raid could easly be the new worst spell in the game. Instead of a Feat they also just could habe given her 40 warjackpoints- would be no difference

Instead of a Feat they also just could habe given her 40 warjackpoints- would be no difference Yeah I have to agree. Her kit does not seem to be very coherent so me (yet, subject to change, I guess). So the +2 ranged dmg spell is nice, and basically the highlight of her spellbook. Raid seems to be a crippled Version of what should probably have been Dash in the first place - which would synergize with the whole hit-and-run concept.
Right now I'm really missing the incentive to play Rocketmen woth Benett at all. Something like Elite Cader: Pistoleer or something of sorts, otherwise I don't see myself picking Rocketmen with her for a lack of Damage and accuracy.

I think the big thing is what has been mentioned here. Currently she just doesnt do anything at all for Rocketmen. Raid as it currently is on her card is 100% useless. There is literally no situation you would want to use it. As Valcaro mentioned I would love to see the following changes: - Rocketmen based models just get flying high natively - Bennet's elite cadre turns to Pistoleer It may not necessarily make her on par with Syvestro, but I think it would push what her original concept in the right direction and give her a unique place within the faction. It gives you a reason to cast Raid. It would be nice to give Raid something a bit more impactful other than +2" charge range, like maybe +2 to hit for Gunfighter Models. Regardless I do hope she changes, because as is, she is very lack luster.

Major Benett was updated late last week, with improvements from her prior version. Specifically, as summarized on social media:
*** Raid now grants +2 Mov and Pistoleer (+1 D6 to gunfighter damage roll) to models with gunfighter that begin a charge in her control area. Benett now has Both Barrels (special attack, adds +4 damage to her flamethrower shot). Benett's SPD is increased to 8. ***
She keeps dodge and flying high, and has still has elite cadre for rocketmen, giving them flying high as well.
I think she looks fun to play for me personally, but I am bad at order-of-activation stuff and will really appreciate the army-wide pseudo-tactician you get from flying high. With downrange and raid, regular rocketmen are hitting at POW 14+3d6, which is pretty good. Max FA rocketmen, suppressor, vindicator(toro?), solos to taste is how I'd like to play her. Curious to hear what others think.
