Potential new model announced alongside some new minicreate offerings. Picture shows a burly piggy (solo?) lad with what appears to be 2 mine markers.
I doubt he'll give us a reason to use dig-in on brigands but something akin to a MOW Kovnik could be neat.

We also have a few WWFF solos incoming from the next wave of Riot Quest, namely:
Boomhowler the Destroyer - The "Axe Archon", with Knockdown, Trash, and Thresher on his melee attack, and a bunch of curses he can use. Speeding up Troll infantry was mentioned, it's unclear if that's because he's Partisan (and thus the rule would also apply in Minions due to being a Friendly Faction-based rule) or if it'll call out Trolls specifically. 8 points, has a rule that prevents him from ever being taken for free.
Gudrun the Wasted - I don't really remember anything about this guy's Warmachine mechanics. Presumably just a beatstick combat solo.
Kogan the Exile - Essentially a Tharn Ravager with a mechanical arm.
Dez and Gubbin, Dynamite Duo - A ranged solo with a powerful mini-Feat based around the concept of firing Gubbin at the enemy. Counts as a Gobber for the purposes of letting Malvin and Mayhem into the list.

Oh also the Death Archon is going to be a Merc/Minion, so WWFF 8 Archon lists (run by Azazello) are presumably going to be a thing.

How many Archons does one piggy need? All of them. Why lead your own kind into battle under the banner of thornfall if you can just casually have manifestations of pure divine will on your side.

i expect a dig in farrow sapper that needs to be in close range to be effective.
perhaps he can lay mines, perhaps he has bombs that are effective against constructs.
i fully expect him to be a model that looks like it NEEDS stealth to even be fielded (and not have it) dooing tons of damage in a niche enviroment rather then have any sort of TOOL to help farrow in general.

Well he almost certainly will have burrow, so stealth is a bit less necessary for delivery. I would not be surprised if those mines can be laid while still underground as that's the basic function of a sapper.
Almost by definition sappers also dig forward trenches/tunnels and prepare field defenses. I think there's a good chance of him having some digging related support ability. Given normal pigs' digging/rooting abilities this should be a particular skill for farrow and seems like a realistic, piggy way they'd answer their delivery issues.
Could see one of something like: Inverse of Foxhole Buddy (if sapper is dug in, b2b warriors are too) Star Action: Prep Foxholes (sapper digs in, small bases within 3" get dug in) Star Action: Dig, pigs, dig!: (farrow warriors within 5" dig in) Forward Trenches (place a trench template near where the sapper deploys) Granted: Cautious advance Grants 1 farrow unit per sapper Advance Deployment
Probably getting my hopes up a bit but I'm pretty confident it'll be a bit more than a combat solo

I would be very happy if they gave the Sapper "Get Down" or something equivalent, though given that Brug is meant to be in the new theme as well I rather suspect that level of overlap in abilities is unlikely. Odds of it being anything but a combat solo with abilities similar to Longchops's trap seem unlikely though.

The model looks pretty cool and I haven't heard of anyone using Longchops in the past decade.

They posted trade points for him yesterday, which suggested that he gets to start with one mine marker in play at the start of the game and that he has Ambush. It's not confirmed, but it did kind of sound like the mines use a similar mechanic to Darius (they mention that the mines can detonate even after he has been killed, which is how Darius's mines operate both in terms of detonation being a choice on the player's part and in that it's a rule for the marker rather than the model generating the mines).
Ambush is something I'm quite dubious about. I don't usually want my board control templates (or markers in this case) out on an extreme flank of the game. I want them set up between central pieces of terrain to minimise my opponent's options for engagement. Hopefully he has AD as well, so we can choose to deploy him normally and still get him to lay a useful mine Turn 1.

CiD week 1 is up. Looks ok I guess, mostly good for protecting flags.

CiD week 1 is up. Looks ok I guess, mostly good for protecting flags. They look pretty interesting. I think protecting flags can be more than just ok, a lot of games are decided on a single scenario point. Pow 14 blast means (basically) every sub-5 point solo WILL die to the mines. They're half the cost of Hutchuk. Not like the big man's exactly rocking the game, but for the same cost as him you can get two dudes that do just about the same thing and then some. I hope the sculpt looks good, I'm absolutely in love with the art on this guy. I'll wait until my hype dies down a bit before I make the decision, but I might actually buy into VoD in the future.
