The underboss is less flashy than other riot quest models, but he's also on the cheap side, that's something I can appreciate, I like his package for 4 points. Fortune hunter makes him dangerous to casters, I mean it's a risky play to go for the move to pull a caster, but it can be game winning and the odds are not terrible, if it doesn't work you've risked a 4 point model, on the other side of the table, is it worth it to risk your caster even if the other guy has only 50% chance to pull you way closer to the frontline? Not a big commitment on our part for a possible high reward. Don't base your gameplan on it working, but the opponent can't ignore it, so it gives you board presence for cheap. If you can charge something it's a 17'' threat and the pull doesn't need to damage do drag, so no hermit shenanigeans. Shield guard can screw him up, but that's generally a fact of life in this game.
Overall I like him for a cheap solo.
