So the we got the new light jacks released into warroom and I was curious what peoples thoughts were about them. I think the negator has some promise but the 0.5" melee is kinda hard to work with. The games I've gotten in with them makes me feel like they need to be ran in groups of 3 to really get any work done with them against a single target.
I have yet to find a list that makes good use out of the tessolator. Pow 12's against large/huge bases and pow 11 against med bases doesn't really seem to stack up against the high arm of the targets they want to hit.
Thoughts?

Aurora2's feat and dark shroud from archons or gaspy make both of them more powerful and i think the tesselator especially will hit way above its point cost at that point. Tesselators also seem promising with Big Mum: Field Marshal, Imperil, Backlash are all quite good on a 7 point model with 4 shots at pow 14-16 Basically any damage buff should make them sing.

I haven't used the Iron mother much, might have to take a look at her with them. I've mainly be looking at the tesselators with Orion. Negators have found their way into a handful of my lists. Locke with Gaspy4 can give them some ridiculous threat ranges and with jack hammer even the first one that goes in can get some sweet flank attacks. The next question is how many of each are reasonable to field. I figure Negators running in trios and tesselators running in pairs? So six negators and two tesselators? I do have one or two lists that use 9 negators, but I may proxy that before dropping that much cash.
