Hello! This is Theodosius from: lormahordes.freeforums.net/thread/389/theodosius-protectorateI could not reactivate my old identity, because I have a new emailaddress. Nevertheless, some weeks ago, in our gaming group, we talked about WM, and perhaps start gaming again. I became motivated to paint some of my Menoth stuff, and become realy frustrated. I did'nt know anymore which colours to use, a lot of my technis I could not recreate anymore. But one can learn. And even though I'm still not on my old level of paining skills, there is some improvements to see. I start with my first and bades one, Pyrrhus, and go up to the newest addition, Dartanjon, äh, Dartan Vilmon . All macros, without mercy *lol*. Ten models in two weeks, I call this the Corona-episode Pyrrhus: Feora1: Wracks: no pictures from them allone, see the groupphoto below Exemplar Nights Officer: Exemplar Gravus: Archon: Dartan Vilmon: All of my Coronasessions together (including the wracks):

@soul Samurai: thank you very much for your kind words! Run a little bit out of motivation, so this is very appreciated :-). Still build an paint, but with a slower pace then the last two/three weeks, and finished the Deliverer Sunburst Crew:

@soul Samurai: thank you very much for your kind words! Run a little bit out of motivation, so this is very appreciated :-). No problem, I know the feeling of not being motivated. This whole week I've been trying to finish some small simple models, yet every evening I just can't bring myself to sit down and do it, and just sit around watching youtube instead. It doesn't help that these forums are so quiet.
I have to say though that I'm very impressed with the pace that you're knocking these guys out, especially considering how good they look!

@soul Samurai: well, I'm not that fast, that was all of my corona sessions over the last couple of weeks, but I did'nt post anything till now, so in the end it took it's time Thank'S, but I'm afrait, that they look better on the pictures than in reality, and I only show the best lookin' pictures, *lol* :-). Finished Fire of Salvation, now only CreosII is left on that front.

Thank'S, but I'm afrait, that they look better on the pictures than in reality I dunno, in my experience the opposite is usually true, at least from tabletop distances. The fire on Fire looks good, and the beaten metal effect on the shoulders looks great!

@soul Samurai: well, yes, perhaps. You're right, from a gaming distance, they all look good, but on the other hand, you can't make out any details from those distance :-) Finished another two minis. KreosII, so, together with FoS, the Kreos-family is now complete: forgot all the washes and inks and so, it's done now, but no photos, sorry for the 'old' version: And then I have build and painted the new (well, at least for me *g*) warder: Those were the numbers 98 and 99, so I decidet to go with something special for my number 100, will soon post a wip, but this will take it's time, so no hurry here

@soul Samurai: well, yes, perhaps. You're right, from a gaming distance, they all look good, but on the other hand, you can't make out any details from those distance :-) Honestly, whenever I look at photos of models I painted I see for the first time all the flaws and stuff that I couldn't make out with my own eyes while holding the damned thing two inches from my own damned face. So whether it's close up or at a distance I feel models often look better in person than their photos. Anyway, more great work you've got there. I'm very impressed by Kreoss's eyes!

Hello! @soul Samurai, again, thank's a lot for your kind words! And you can see in the next pictures, you're right! If I fail in the small details and mess them up, what I did here a little bit more, than the macros are more bad than the model in a normal distance suggest . I'm still painting, but I struggle a little bit with my onehundred. It's a little bit a messy model, and I fight with my skills, sometimes it is well again, sometimes not. I have to live with that. It's ok, but allow me some wip-shots to get me a bid more motivation. At least, only the two horses and some chaines are left: And here, where I did not work as good as I did by the last models, @soul Samurai, you are completly right: on the macros the bad painted parts are much more present than they are in 'reality' *lol* Thanks for watching!

That chariot is already looking great, it's going to be a hell of a centerpiece model once the horses are done!

After a much needet break from painting, here it continues again. The carriot had cost me all of my motivation, but I'm in again Cinnerator Officer was in the que: Finaliy, leading his squad of Cinny's. Funny to see all the differences between the squad and the officer. But they can still stay together, imo. That's for now. Still undecidet what to paint next, but I will show it to you, regardless what it will be
Need your help: I don't know, why the pictures are turned in the wrong direction. On the host, they look fine. Any idear, what I can do here?

I don't know if it's your painting skills or your photography skills that have improved -or both! - but this latest batch looks even better than before!

@soul Samurai: thank's alot! And of course, it must be the photography *g*. I tryed to concentrate on the basics, painting wise, perhaps that had helped too. Again to some more lazy stuff, finished the Allegiant:

Nice. Painting the diamonds on the vest must have been a real pain. I do suggest you add some highlighting and/or shading to the trousers; they're looking a bit flat right now.
