Tech of the Day! You guys already guess it, but ASSIMILATORS! These guys are amazing with Nemo and cover a couple bases that Mercs lack. AOE 4, Rat 6, pow 13 Ground Pounder, all shots Fully Boosted with FFE. But also good, the Asser can be Craned and Velocitied up to 10" from where it began, allowing GPs to land up to 21 inches away, ignoring most defensive tech. But thats not all, it can use those same tricks to get away too. It can have almost the equivalent of Repo 3 (or 5 sometimes) which isn't terrible. It doesn't have the best melee, because Mat 5 hurts, but a pow 14 (16) weapon master clipper isn't bad with Watcher and any kind of hit buffing turns it into a decent clipper. A caster that can buff hit with a feat turns it into a real melee threat. The main advantage is the absurd range threat it brings. Merc shooting is always expensive, but the amount of carnage a placed super ground pounder can do is pretty good.
