I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere. IIRC they just said "hey new models, so CID, and we'll rework some of the old models in the same CID too, then dynamic update as usual". Not that I would complain if they do something for old models before that. I just think we'll get the mecanoshredder before that, since we already have most of its rules and we saw the model, so before summer I guess. Mekanoshredder is end of May. This is known.

Hungerford appeared on Chain Attack and revealed that Bethayne2 is Bethayne, Pride of Everblight and he added, "People have been asking when a Karchev-style warlock is going to happen. There you go."

Interesting... I wonder if B2 will be more like Thag2? Or does this mean that all the jack boosting things that Karchev does, B2 will do for beasts?

Let's hope he just meant she goes full beast, has spirals and 30 boxes, but has an interesting, challenging playstyle besides that.
I certainly don't want more boring Khador-like playstyle for Legion. We've been served with the blighted trolls CID already.

Agreed, tho Full Steam on the Mechanoshredder makes me reeeeaaalllly hopeful they’re gonna flesh out some non Primal Terrors play styles for Legion.

I still haven't found one (or more) sets of Chosen yet - so my experience in Primal Terrors is limited. My meta took a hit well before this and I haven't found enough of a reason to put down the cash for a set (much less 2). Though I love the look of them and the rules look awesome.
I don't mind Legion having access to a list that is like this. It gives a different playstyle than many of the other themes.
But with that said, my experience with legion was to make the most of its mobility to off set the small army size rather than foot slog forward.

Hmmm full steam is nice on paper, I have trouble asserting it will be a game changer for us. We already have big ranges. The free fury helps with our damage output problem but not a lot. It costs less than our current seraph option, but is more dependent on game situations. It works on more models though (yay thrones are finally threatening at 14" !)
I struggle to make a place for them in most of my lists were they would be interesting. Unless we get yet another point reduction on models... not counting on this imo.
Maybe some warlocks that have the fury will be able to build new lists with them were they spam the animus on previously slow/average models ? Like, the twins could really put this on ~6~8 models per turn with Saeryn and shredders, while still doing work with Rhyas.

Yes, this is how I see her, she is fully integrated with Belphagor (and it may be on a large base now) so that part is like Karchev. Playstyle (supposedly beast oriented)would be iffy, particularly because the other two units that we know about in this update will not be beasts. I wonder about the fluff on her integration? Either she adapted to the beast and thus can stay inside indefinitively (takes it off outside of a battle) or she got hurt real bad during the Great Hunt (like she has no legs, one arm and half her torso, something gruesome) so the only way she can survive is inside Belphagor. Also it may be something other than Belphagor that she wears now.

Works with any warlock.

Well the Mechanoshredder animus is having a considerable impact in the few games I've had. Something important to note is that it is the tankiest lesser, making it harder to kill with random blasts/eleaps etc plus a better transfer target. We will have to remember that we can't heal it though. Steamroller 2020 has been slightly discussed and EVERY scenario will now have an objective! That's a huge plus for Full Steam.
The lockdown in the US probably isn't ending any time soon, so who knows when the CID will finally start. I really want to mix up my list building... Nyss haven't had any relevance for this whole edition...

Yea, I don't envision many cases where the Shredder would be better than the Mechanoshredder? I know I have been waiting for more anti-jack/construct tech. I often play against heavy armor (or did in my meta). So anything to help with that is great for me.
I am probably too hopeful for the CID. The last CID split its focus between new and old models - and was afraid to tackle some of models that needed help most. Don't get me wrong - Abby 1 changes were great, as were some others. On that note, are Chosen still considered OP now after this much time to adjust?
Back on target - I hope we focus more on older models than new with this release. We know that we have B2 and Blighted Archons as new, any others? The only old model I know for sure is B1?

New models ? Virtues. Our 4th flying unit... Eager to see if they make us shelve those chickens that made us shelves those raiders.
For those of you who want to play Nyss, just play Retribution already. They have all the cool Nyss models now.
Legion is for tentacles lovers only.
