There are several choices that never ever are a consideration for me, except in thought exercises aimed to make those choice work.
- Any of the strider units and fyanna1 - scather crew - nyss archers - teraph - wasps - afflictor - stinger - insert one of the warlocks with which to shoot yourself in the foot
Then there's choices that never seem to fit or are lacking due to synergy issues
- deathstalkers - scythean - neraph
Things I do use and want to see improved - other lesser beasts - as a result, the pot and beastmistress - neph soldier - neph protector

They already said Bethayne1 needs help so I expect they will look at her. I think we're all saying the succubus because her spells do nothing most of the time, she's just a free upkeep.
It's funny how in any wishlisting/complaining threads, people differ on what's bad. Strider rangers are actually very good, objectively. They have the meta issue of lots of other pieces, they hunt single wound infantry that have been smashed out of the meta. Grotesque raiders are pretty solid for what they do, but they have almost the same design space as rotwings and their support piece (the assassin) kinda sucks. I generally prefer them to rotwings actually. I can't believe dirtyharrypotter mentioned the Neraph! I know you meant it isn't bad per se but hard to put in a list, but I struggle to avoid them in beast heavy lists. It isn't amazing vs armour (but still OK given its usual free charges and our frequency of dmg buffs) but it is amazing for other things. I frequent field up to 3 of them in a list! Mat 7, 2 initials, coil, flight, spd7 sprint, so long as it isn't against a huge base or arm20+ heavy I love these guys!

In no specific order, here are the things i do not think highly of in Legion. Scather Crew Teraph Nephilim Soldier Nephilim Protector Blighted Nyss Swordsmen Blighted Nyss Archers Officer and Ammo Porter Angelius Blighted Ogrun Warspears Scythean Zuriel .... You are absolutely right... *cough* and this is why I should NOT be in charge. *goes plays with my crayons* Back on track... okay, I guess we will see B1 changed. I think it this is a good thing, I just contest that there are models that need more help and/or would have a greater amount of impact. One of the things that I wanted to see out of this thread was people's perceptions. I love seeing these opinions and experiences. I also thought that if we got enough responses, we could see where the majority of those are similar and therefore giving us good candidates for change (maybe even a solution or two).

The neraph is probably our best beast IMO. Perfectly costed and doesn't pay for useless tech (criticals, eyeless sight etc).
The scouts are great. Their cost got almost divided by 2 passing into mk3 since they lost all their rules. Now they regained all their rules for... nothing. People don't play them because the current meta is, unsurprisingly, undying infantry or armored stuff. It's a bit like their situation at the end of mk2.
Blightblades on the other end are unplayable as-is (they already were in mk2, I only played them for jam-die-incubi).
Stalkers have made a noted return in my list, and I missed them. They're so great on the table. Great synergy with the chickens and golab.

Agreed I should really like the neraph, yet when push comes to shove I'd rather make room for carni.
I guess personal preferences are hard to avoid in top tens like these.

Man... I wish BlightBlades were better. A good UA may do the trick but with as written, they a bit of a sad trumpet solo. Don't get me wrong, Ambush and Stealth is great - but grievous wounds and low pow doesn't do much.
hmm... if BlightBlades lost Grievous Wounds and Strider Rangers lost CRA... and both gained poison? IDK - I'm on a poison kick. Raptors would probably suffer if a cheaper ranged unit gained poison.
Again - the reason they didn't make my list is more that I think a good UA model could fix them. Yes - that would be a tax on the unit as a whole so a point reduction would be great if that is the path before these models.

I don't want to see poison on another Legion model until we get Dismantle, Rust or something similar. We already do a lot into living models, we need some more tech against construct models.

I agree! I would much rather have options against 'Jacks (or anything non-living *eyes undead and constructs*) than more poison. My thought was more around transitioning all the "critical poison" off of our beasts and onto our infantry and allowing beasts to be more focused against what they need to fight against (like Armor Piercing).
I would love to see something along those lines. I am unsure what models something like that would be good with. Hmmm... what model do we already have that doesn't see play that would benefit the most from some tech like this?
Neph Solider with Dismantle? Stinger with Rust? More Gremlins?

Any word on when we expect this update to arrive? Cheers, Dave No idea. We had some cause to believe it would land in February, but that didn't happen.

I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere. IIRC they just said "hey new models, so CID, and we'll rework some of the old models in the same CID too, then dynamic update as usual". Not that I would complain if they do something for old models before that. I just think we'll get the mecanoshredder before that, since we already have most of its rules and we saw the model, so before summer I guess.
