Aren't Tharn human? More or less. They go through like a hulk out to get all Tharn-y I thought. I think the larger issue there would be that they will eat you rather than the more Viking-esque raid, pillage, capture sort of mentality, so establishing a relationship would be tough.
And Gators being non-mammalian is going to rule out their combination with anybody barring magical intervention.
Trolls, Dwarves, Ogrun seem the most likely candidates with well established cultural intermingling, but even then. Trolls and Ogrun are going to be way to...bestial?...for most others to handle although maybe a Troll/Ogrun mix would be compatible in that regard. The dwarves always seems very "soft-racist" to me, like they think like the Iosans, they just don't say it out loud in public like the elves do.
edit:
-oops sorry-
Commented from the first page...didn't see we were done.

Seacat confirmed that elves and humans can breed, just not viably, so the rest of the pairings are most likely possible as well. Tharn × human is 100% possible, the question is just if its viable. Trolls, farrow and gator is still up in the air for all of the criminals out there.

A horrible topic, for sure, but one I haven't seen mentioned anywhere in forums or in the lore - has it ever been confirmed whether the different sentient races can interbreed? and beyond all of the disgusting implications this brings, can they actually create viable offsprings? Biology is a bit of an odd topic in the IK, since humans were pretty much created from menoth's footsteps, Dwarves were handcrafted by their gods, and Trolls, Ogres, Gobbers and Farrow were either created by Dhunia or sort of popped out of her armpit grease, Gators were probably created by Kossk or the Wurm, Tharn are just humans who drank too much kool-aid, Elves were made by their own gods and Skorne are just atheist elves. So, how does it all work? can everyone interbreed? no one? can you only breed with beings created by the same god? if so, would that means gators and tharn can woohoo, since they both carry the Wurm's essence? can trollbloods breed with Pygs? I think it's also more or less confirmed smaller Farrow can breed with the larger, mutated types? For the record, I'm only asking all of this because I want to know whether I can reasonably use orc minis in IKRPG campaigns, but once you stare into the abyss it's too late to turn back. IK is kind of an interesting IP because the while most games have a god/domain for every race (elvish god of Law, human god of Law), the gods in Immoren center around race (the gods create or come from the people) and dominate a domain. So elvish gods are time gods, there is no human equivalent. Human gods are various gods of law (neutral - Menoth, Morrow/Thamar, good/evil). Dwarvish gods have the domain of ancestry, crafting, and even secrets. Because the gods are....well soul racial supremacists hybrids usually don't happen and when they do the kids are horribly deformed. There are some exceptions though. Tharn used to be human, until worship of the Devourer warped their soul to align directly with him and changed their race. Trollbloods, who worship Dhunnia are the only race that can successful reproduce with every race, but even then the kids don't come out as hybrids, they come out as trollbloods. So either trollblood is the base form of every living sentient thing or Dhunia is so based that she just dominates the genenome of any kids produced from Trollblood - (enter sentient race) love.

You say there's no time god for humans, but can I introduce you to the time lord and savior Haley?

Where is that lore found? Early MKI and II books, it mentions how Boomhowler has a bunch of kids from many different species of woman and they all come out Trollkin. In fact, the voice of Bragg or the voice of some trollbloods who are genetically linked to Bragg can be attuned as to make men "stiff" and women "hot under the collar", even if they are from a different species. What can I say, Dhunia is all about breeding and Trollkin are the children of Dhunia. Trollbloods (one of the IK World Guides) even believe all sentient creatures that are not Trollkin are just reincarnations of Trollkin. This is why Leto and Madrak where able to be brothers when they were young. Madrak looked into his soul and saw who he was. Now this is what they believe, whether it is true is another thing.

Interesing that no one has mentioned Satyxis yet, given they are actually ONLY able to mate with human males due to a lack of their own, but that basically just confirms they are human still.
Also, i think the lack of viable cross breed was an intentional move by PP in order to differentiate the setting from DnD, because they wanted to avoid the whole "I am going to play a halfling orc-elf-human and thus is get the racial benefits of all the races!"

I think you hit the nail on the head with that. I forgot Satyxis! I think you might have something there, don't sell a good theory short! I don't think Satyxis are human, what it may be is that since the Trollbloods (who have a deep connection with Dhunia who is the goddess of Immoren) can mate with any sentient creature and create more Trollbloods, dragons and Toruk especially as outsiders do something similar. Their blight mutate creatures who can mate with and replace the native population with deranged dragon cultists who perform like antibodies. They cover a geographic area and provide a warning system to any threat or group of threats to the dragon's roost. This is one of the reasons most dragons (with the exception of Everblight who is the weakest but most adaptive) sit in an area so long. They not only saturate the environment with dragon radiation which protects them but they shape the sentient races, wildlife, and fauna to create an area that is hostile to threats.

I don't think this applies to Satyxis. Satyxis males do exist, but they are weak and frail, so are often simply killed. Satyxis women mate with human males because their physiology allows it. When a girl is born from the "exchange", they Satyxis might seek out the human again to mate with, since he is seen as "good stock". If it's a boy, there's a good chance they will also seek out the human, but to kill him. It's kind of like Russian roulette. Anyway, the point is that the blighted race in this case does not infect the humans, seeing as they're the receiving end of the interaction.

Satyxis males are usually 'expended' by the sacrificial ritual shortly after their birth. And don't forget that satyxis IS human - they are just blighted human.

I wouldn't mind a Satyxis choosing me for reproduction purposes.
