Riposte on the primal archon is going to be funny, particularly with even ground.

Was Even Ground mentioned anywhere or is it part of our wishlisting?

Wishlisting I think? He's been described as a mix of Sorscha1 (Wind Rush) and Damiano (Sure Foot, at a guess?).

Yeah the head should be flatter and the ears might be set a bit low, but I think the real problem is the head is set atop the shoulders which ain't normal for a farrow. Lacking a crest doesn't help either but a civilized farrow getting a haircut is plausible. Basically all male farrow have heavily curved spine setting their face barely above their shoulder line (Sturm being a surgical exception); it looks like they physically can't stand upright like humans and Azazello do. The Valkyries and to a lesser extent Agata/Helga do have heads set actually above their shoulders but even then the neck seems to be set at a ~45 degree forward angle with their crests still the highest point on the model as opposed to what's going on with Azazello. Having rounded head with a visible back of the head looks super weird, which normally wouldn't happen because it slopes up into a crest and hunched back. The concept art did have a lot better neck for what that's worth, still more like a valkyries but it looked like there was significant forward angle going on unlike the render. Anyway, hoping the head is a separate piece or can be easily clipped off to set it forward a bit and sculpt a bit of a crest on the back. On a positive note, Hungie did say on discord today that the Troll CID might draw in some farrow legacy models.

I think part of his posture is probably intended though. He’s not just a farrow thief, he’s suave and steals hearts so he’s going to have to look and pose better to fit that. Who knows what back surgery or braces he might be wearing to stand up straight but being around humans and stealing from them he probably would take up their mannerisms and posture so it at least makes sense in context. Also Arkadius always described Farrow as a malleable species which is why he liked them. I’m pretty sure they can stand up straight it’s just Normal farrow scrounge around and dig and loot so being more hunched is useful and they adapted it to be normal, but Azazello really isn’t a normal farrow in that sense since he’s civilized and around humans. Also maybe because he’s not painted but I more saw it as he’s wearing a bandana cap zorro mask on his head instead of it being a haircut, and that you could see a bit of it tied behind his head over his shoulder.

I wonder if the intention is for him to have a hat. From a sculpt practicality standpoint, he'd need to stand straighter to wear a hat. If not, let's just give him a hat 😁

Now that I see it it's definitely a Zorro mask with extra cloth dangling off the back of his head. Having a less hunched posture absolutely makes sense for him (also speaks to explains helga's disciplined warrior subculture as well) but I think the changes between the concept art and render were where they went too far. That being said I'd love it if they just said he wears a whalebone corset under that jacket to help fit into human society, that would be hilarious and those are totally capable of messing with anatomy over time

I think having a posture that retains farrow anatomy while looking more civilized a la Valkyries (like in the concept art!) would've been much better and less awkward looking than the render. plus, quite a lot of small details seem not to have been transferred over from the art to the render.

I’m trying to think what cool hats we have to put on him that are extra bits. Longchops hat? Wolf with no name maybe. Wrong eyes top hat might be cool. If the head is a separate bit I might put the commando leaders head for the beret and cigar.
