So I've recently come back to Warmahordes (and by extension COI). I discovered that companion characters can now be taken by beast wardens. Was that always a thing? I don't remember Belphegor being eligible to be taken as a warbeast.
Anyways, I want to make a COI list that turns a warbeast into a wrecking ball. Synergies are harder to pull of in COI I feel like, so any suggestions would be great.

I believe it was an addition in one of the No Quarter Primes. Belphagor certainly seems like an excellent choice with his animus.
As for becoming a wrecking ball, beasts are typically in an odd place since they don't have access to Fury and essentially work as if they've been 'jack marshalled. You're mostly looking to wring as many attacks out of a beast as you can, since the cards will usually allow you to hit or break whatever defence/armour you're up against. I can't recall if there are any command cards that could be specifically useful... though I think there is one that lets you recruit a Minion model which could let you bring a Feralgeist to keep the Warbeast going just a little bit longer.
