Tank gives slag troll plane +2 inches Ah that's fair for a KC list and that isn't insignificant. More than that, it is a buff that applies to a slag but not the other (heavy) damage dealers.

Tank gives slag troll plane +2 inches So I must have misunderstood Hungerford when they announced Ledfoot and Tredz. I thought you got to move the medium base to within 2 inches of where L&T ended their movement... Still good but not quite as much a revelation as I thought...

Finally got time to test all the errated stuff. Played followin list: conflictchamber.com/?c7201b_-1tgP0r9Djqpk2QpWpXpX6D0pfqi_6s7rc8bJTrollbloods [Theme] Kriel Company [Madrak 3] Madrak, Great Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [17] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Boomhowler, Solo Artist [0(6)] Feralgeist [2] Ledfoot & Tredz [7] Pyg Tank [5] Pyg Tank [5] Pyg Burrowers (min) [7] Pyg Bushwhackers (min) [8] - Pyg Bushwhacker Officer & Mortar [0(5)] Pyg Lookouts (min) [7] Scattergunners (min) [8] - Scattergunner Officer & Standard [4] Sons of Bragg [9] Trollkin Scouts [10] I included bushwackers to list even tho they didn't get update just because they fit to list idea. Burrowers: They have now really good job and they do it well. Burrowing let them be just where enemy is going to be, about back edge of enemy zones. They are way behind from what murder machines they used to be on MK2 but they have a job and they do it cheap. No need for max unit thou. Lookouts: RAT5 helps them a lot. I might have to paint the rest 2 models. Bushwackers: I played them bad, but they have to be max unit so you can kill models with big CRA:s. Not best pick. Scattergunners: THey are amazing unit that clears all enemy infatry. BUT meta is against them and no-one play that much infantry. if meta goes back to ARM16-18 infantry or we get some way to buff their damage they would have really good spot. Scouts: Still meh. They would see more table time if you could take them min unit same way as lookouts, but 10p for 6 wounds is just too much.

Imho i share this experience.
I add that dozer is excellent right now and burrowers are insane, even If They do nothing but score and stress opponent.
Not sold on sons. Whats general opinion on them?
Scattergunners + hermit are great but as mentioned only in dedicated matchups.
Scouts should be cheaper but useful now.

I've tried scouts in several games. They are super dependent on terrain(i.e. forests) being available to deliver them and mid-level targets for them to hit. If you set everything up, they can hit decently hard and are great against some of the super-healing boogiemen but on average are very lackluster. Dropping them a couple points would seem reasonable but I'm guessing doesn't happen given their high end potential.

Sons have place as only hard hitting infantry unit on KC but they are definitely not great. I don't see scouts to became cheaper, but 4-men unitsize like Lookouts could be possible

I only get to play about once a week, but D&S has yet to disappoint me. I'm still waiting for my chance to go first though so I can live the dream of drifting a boosted POW 10 4" AoE into my opponent's starting zone, but it hasn't happened yet.

I think D&S with gunnbjorn has always been solid and it is great now. Kill Shot and the bond are both superb. With any other caster though... Id rather have a Bomber i think.

Calandra + rerolls means you can oneshot voids and Thamarite archons.
Bomber does not have this range

As opposed to having Valkyries or Thamarites or whatever that would shut down both? Shield guards stop bombers just as well D+S unless they have one and only one shield guard. That’s not much of a reason to choose bombers over D+S.

Dozers range means u can pick your target usually. If enemy has everything clumped around shieldguards, your fireeaters celebrate the day. Shot is also comin 22" inches from downtown... Played him now Dozers of time and he never has let me down so far. Calandra is probably also the reason why .

Theoreticall D+S would also work great with Horgle, as it replicated the bond on feat turn and they are a great fire starter.
