Hi guys, here's Domenico from Italy. Some weeks ago, I bought the mentionated box from a famous (and trusted) UK seller. The box arrived at home sealed, no trace of manumission. When I opened it, I founded something wrong with it. First of all, Blighted Trollkins were the older metal models, instead of resin new models depicted on the box. Then, only today, I noticed that Gerlak model was the old sculpt in metal, not the new one in resin. For the first problem I contacted PP customer service to point out what happened (they asked to submit a request to the seller) but now that I realize that also Gerlak is an old model I'm asking myself if it's a normal mispackaging or if it is a swindle (for the most, I think done by UK seller).
Does somebody on the forum buy Slaughter Fleet Box? Have you find some older models as happened to me?
Thank you in advance for any prompt answer.
Cheers, Domenico

I didn't buy one, but some models are manufactured in the UK rather than shipped from the States. The ones that are manufactured here, in the EU, are most often indeed pewter, rather than resin. I'm not sure if that's the case with the army box, but it could explain what happened.
Are you sure the Bloodgorgers are the old models rather than simply the new ones in metal? It's quite easy to notice as there is a clear size creep. Gerlak never actually did get a resculpt, so he's exactly the same model, no matter the material.

Yes sir, unfortunately they're old models, old sculpts in metal, inside an old box. There's a mismatching between the images depicted on the box and the other smaller boxes inside that here in Italy is considered misleading advertising. I asked to the seller for a replacement, he answered that asked my behalf a replacement to Privateer Press... I'll believe it only when replacement blighted trollkins box would be at home. So Gerlak in resin too it's always the same size, isn't it? What a pity, it seems a dwarf between the other trollkin.

Yes, materials may get an update from time to time, but that doesn't mean that the sculpt gets a new version. Gerlak has been the same since the beginning and he is indeed notably smaller than the newer Blighted Trollkin. Some people make their own conversions from a Trollblood Axer (light warbeast)

Yes, I recognized that the sculpt was always the same, I only hope that could be enlarged some way when recasted in resin... Enlarge your Gerlak could be a new spam chain Thank you for your suggestion, I'm pretty sure I'll do the same buying a Troll Axer... The only question is, old o newer sculp in plastic? Thank you in advance.

I see only a tattoo XD More than the aspect (the metal one seems more menacing), I care about the size... I'm pretty sure that the plastic one is bigger than the metallic one.
