She's a construct? Really? Is there a fluff reason for this?

She's a BE caster, comes with the territory.

Yes, the fluff reason is the big heccing metal-and-bone dragon she's sitting on. You prpbably missed that.

Yeah for some reason, the battle engines that you expect to be Undead (Wraith Engine, Deneghra 3) are also Constructs. It makes sense because they're battle engines, but I don't see how they're more or less mechanical than iron liches for instance.

Isnt the wraith ENGINE literally just a giant church organ made out of metal, bone and necrotite? I am honestly surpirsed people are flabbergasted by the two cryx battle engines being constructs... like, what else are they going to be? 5 thralls stacked on top of each other?

I don't mind either way. It's just that, technically, all Undead are Constructs. Mechanithralls are flesh, bone, metal and necrotite, but are not Constructs. Iron Liches are bone, encased in metal, and necrotite, though they're also driven by a soul somewhere. Cryx warjacks are metal, bone and necrotite, but they aren't Undead. What makes these battle engines different that they are both Undead and Constructs, instead of one or the other? Again, I don't mind it, as it actually works out better for us this way for us, so *shrug*

Well I mean the necrosurgeon does rebuild the different thralls from parts gathered on the battlefield leading to the "repair" of one wound construct/undead models. Though you are correct, they are not classified as constructs, just undead. I guess it gets down to the nitty gritty of the difference of a machine with bone bits, or something that is possessed with a malevolent intelligence...but then why isn't say the death jack considered an undead? I guess its more of an infernal beast possessing a construct. Makes it cleaner in game terms for interaction of abilities how it is now.
