Hi,Could somebody please explain how the witch coven cast spells correctly as we are confused by the wording, if i have no arc nodes and a witch casts a spell like stygian abyss, does it come from the witch or egregore? it says the witch needs los but range is from egregore who doesnt need los?? so is egregore like a ghost shot arc node?? or does the spell come from the witch?? if i wanted to cast an upkeep with a witch does egregore need to be 6" away from target? hope not because that seems weak! Thanks

When a witch casts a non-channelled spell: - the Egregore is the spell's point of origin; this means that the RNG is measured from the Egregore - the witch must have LOS to the target - the Egregore does not need to have LOS to the target if i wanted to cast an upkeep with a witch does egregore need to be 6" away from target? hope not because that seems weak! Yes, the Egregore needs to be within 6" of the target to cast Occultation/Infernal Machine on it. Don't worry, it's not weak.

P'tit Nico is correct about everything. Note that each witch, as well as the Egregore, activate separately, and that you will usually want an arc node or 2 anyway. This makes it extremely easy for them to cycle spells, even upkeeps, which is unique for a caster and makes them very versatile. You can also run the Egregore and then feat with one of the witches, which is also something other casters can't do. PS: maybe one of the mods should move this to Cryx?
