Do you think Sloan deploying 75 points worth of Chargers or Hunters might be playing out her hand too early in the game? (mmmm.... they need Ambush.)
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Well, it depends on the case, but... I don't think that it makes dramatical difference because you will need a lots of focus to fuel all of them.
-Sloan only have 6+1 focus points.
-A Charger gains 1 focus by default(as the other non-Vector warjacks does), and with this it can boost the first roll but it needs an another focus point to boost the second roll.
--With Sloan's feat, it needs an another focus point to boost the third roll, although you can fully boost three ranged attacks with POW 12 with this.
-A Hunter gains 1 focus by defeault, and with this it can boost the first damage roll.
--With Sloan's feat, it needs an another focus point to boost the second damage roll.
In either cases you need to spend 1 focus point per a warjack to be fully effective on the feat turn.
And, against ARM 20...
Unboosted POW 12 cause average
0.55.. damage, while boosted damage roll cause
2.824.. damage on a hit.
Unboosted POW 6 with Armor Piercing cause average
3.11.. damage, while boosted damage roll cause
6.504.. damage on a hit.
Both of them are not count the attack roll part, though, and Hunter and unboosted Charger's attack roll may miss more times.
Charger gets the upper hand if the target's ARM is below of 20, for it can makes two attacks by default.
Well... Just for the one-turn glory move against jacks and beasts, Hunter seems better. But I don't think that it is the only way to do. If you go second, it is possible that your couple of Chargers can decimate key solos or at least threaten them to think twice before their advance. But in either cases, I don't think that only sink all the points to her battlegroup seems very efficient.
