Ram has knockdown, which is a huge difference. Good point. Still, I just think the whole thing could have been cleaner. Remove Beat Back and split Knockdown out of Ram (no reason not to just add it as a second rule to the weapon), or just re-write Beat Back to be exactly the same as Ram minus the Knockdown instead of the way they re-wrote to be almost the same just less straight-forward. Or better yet, leave it how it was in MK2 when it did something quite different from Ram.

I agree with all that. I was just saying that ram was significantly better than beat back, and thus combining them was either a big nerf or buff. Especially because in my experience, the knockdown part was more relevant than the beat back part when using ram.

You can't beat back if the model you hit dies. Hmmm...is that true? I know with the Grolar’s Ram, you resolve movement before damage. Does it work the same with Beat Back? Rules lawyers!?! It says this in the Tactical Tips on cards with Beat Back (Ragnor 1 for example). "Beat Back -Remember you cannot advance towarads a model that you destroyed" or something llike this.

Specifically, Beat Back occurs “after the attack has been resolved.” Destroyed models are removed from the table as part of resolving the attack. It’s very hard to move directly toward a model that is not on the table. See the Timing Chart for all of this info.

Hey gang, long time no see.
I like him overall. Not to strong, but strong enough. And a good fit as a free model. Always nice to see Orsus in a Doom Reaver list also.
I do wish I could have gone full time paradox and run him with Butcher2, but that would have been a bit silly.

Hey gang, long time no see. Hello! What have you been up to? Been getting games in lately? Best part about Butcher 4? He get's non-Khadorans to paint a Khadoran model. Now I'm tempted to get a second Butcher4 and paint him in a Cygnaran scheme... o_0

Hey gang, long time no see. Hello! What have you been up to? Been getting games in lately? I've been mostly playing Iceborne. I haven't even touched my minis in months.

I've been mostly playing Iceborne. I haven't even touched my minis in months. Hmm, I haven't heard of Iceborne. Man, there's so many games these days I worry the player base is getting too fragmented. I'm trying to start some Monsterpocalypse but I can't seem to find time to paint my minis, partly because I've been pulled into 40K and Infinity, and I'm helping my local gaming group develop a homebrew game. Also we might be getting slightly off topic. Umm, something something Butcher4.

Is it weird that Butcher4's shirtlessness makes me want to paint him like he has tank top tan lines?

Honestly as a model to play he's actually kinda boring. He effectively costs Infinity points but can be taken as a free card so w/e, and otherwise is basically a slower chunkier extra Doom Reaver. He lacks the cool guy rules and capacity to Live the Dream that Fenris has.
Mostly he lacks caster synergy so he just feels like a free card you throw in there because he might be better than 3 Ternion.
On the other hand he IS still free and sometimes you string tough checks and tilt your opponent off a cliff. He has some decent synergy with Hermit as well because if hermit cancels the damage he still gets his stumble and punch. Treat him as 3 doom reavers glued together that are better into guns but have no threat range
