Most lists have vital support models that are vulnerable to autohitting pow10-14 (curse of shadows, hermit). I would say that it is a threat. And a storm raptor and you have POW 16 e-leaps, right? Getting the hermit back among the enemy support would be impressive though

Yes, Hermit probably dies before getting there.
Then again, that list can/should/must include 2 Dhunian archons which can prevent 2 damage rolls each turn and heal 2d3 for each friendly model killed model. Talk about good sac paw model!

Been meaning to say something about those WTC lists.
The second list - the DevHost list with the Pureblood - is along the same lines as what I've been dojoing for DevHost. I wasn't sure if three beasts was enough to keep Mo fed with Fury; I'd be interested what folks think. I assume the two lights just stay safe and make Fury? I mean, they'd also be good with all the shooting in the list, but they have to play pretty forward for that, and it feels like Mo with three dead beasts is in trouble.
They almost all take 3 Gallows Groves for a req, which I hadn't thought about, but seems pretty good for Mo.
The third one is pretty similar to the Bones version I speculated about early in this thread, but swaps out the Fulcrum for 2 Woldwardens. I'm not that convinced by Geomancy spam with Mo (and I don't own that many Wardens) so I think I'm happy with the Fulcrum (which I don't own either, but if I've got to proxy something while I try things out, I figure it might as well be something I don't own at all...)
Woldwyrd spam seems like it could be pretty awesome, but I'm not buying that many of them.

How do people feel about wild hunt and Mohsar? I feel the 3 war wolves for one req is worth a look. The clincher is i'd also like to offer 3x wolves of orboros as what the list will be built upon. Is it naive of me? One ambushing unit of wolves of orboros really pressures the opponent into playing centrally: 3" deployment + 6" SPD + 3" charge + 2" reach + 2" Hunters mark = 14 - 16" of pressure from the sidelines The normally deployed unit of wolves of orboros then have mirage on one giving 6spd + 3charge + 2reach + 2mirage + 2huntersmark = 13 - 15" of threat which is considerable. 3 war wolves and 2 reeve hunters are then free to roam a flank and chip away at key models The well of orboros is there for 2" of increased control to maximize the feat and sunhammer. (+ additional benefits) Thoughts? Battlegroup and support solos can be varied to flavour conflictchamber.com/?c8201b_-1x4wmD4z4Hg45g5gmVmVmV5x5x5j5j5j4U4W4U4W4U4WmTCircle [Theme] The Wild Hunt [Mohsar 1] Mohsar the Desertwalker [+27] - Feral Warpwolf [16] - Wild Argus [7] - Woldwyrd [9] Blackclad Stoneshaper [3] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [4] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Reeve Hunter [4] Reeve Hunter [4] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Well of Orboros [10] conflictchamber.com/?c8201b_-1x4wmD4H4Hg45gmVmVmV5x5x5j5j5j4U4W4U4W4U4WmTCircle [Theme] The Wild Hunt [Mohsar 1] Mohsar the Desertwalker [+27] - Feral Warpwolf [16] - Woldwyrd [9] - Woldwyrd [9] Blackclad Stoneshaper [3] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Reeve Hunter [4] Reeve Hunter [4] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Well of Orboros [10]

Circle [Theme] The Wild Hunt [Mohsar 1] Mohsar the Desertwalker [+27] - Feral Warpwolf [16] - Wild Argus [7] - Woldwyrd [9] Blackclad Stoneshaper [3] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [4] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Reeve Hunter [4] Reeve Hunter [4] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Well of Orboros [10] As always it is worth trying (at least if you do not have to invest in the models before doing so! ) I think we can go a bit more lean though. you have a LOT of support in there for my taste. Id like some more fury capability, and if the wild Argus is to be worth it, id like to see a serious ranged assassination threat. Tinkering with the list while not changing its core, i cant justify the Argus, so i bumped him up to a Riphorn. His problems have always been threat range and needing a damage buff. With potentially +4" threat and +4 POW and +2 MAT he can kill things super dead. I skimped on the support a bit and got LotF in there. The well can always fill him up with Wolves before he goes in on something important, and otherwise he can just do his normal thing and hang back and force opponents to consider him going in with all the corpses and curse of shadows against an unsuspecting target. He probably wont do that, but the opponent still has to respect that , and that is well worth a 4 point solo (the free black clad you no longer get) imo. conflictchamber.com/?c8201b_-1x4wmDcI4H5gmVmVmVmI5x5j5j5j4U4W4U4W4U4WmTCircle [Theme] The Wild Hunt [Mohsar 1] Mohsar the Desertwalker [+27] - Feral Warpwolf [16] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Woldwyrd [9] Blackclad Wayfarer [4] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Gallows Grove [0(2)] Lord of the Feast [0(6)] Reeve Hunter [4] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] War Wolf [0(2)] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Wolves of Orboros (max) [11] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Well of Orboros [10] I cant say im in love with the list, and it is probably better to just play DH, but its worth a spin for sure! Also, remember that Sic em triggers on melee attacks too, so you dont need a hunter technically even if it gives you a lot more options!

Thank you! That's good feedback I like being a precious snowflake. I also feel the the majority of people are teching towards DH so a surprise wild hunt list might be effective. I've honestly never considered the rip horn satyr so will gladly give him a go. The LOTF was a consideration but i forgot i got hit my own guys with the well so he is certainly WELL worth it It will be a few weeks before i can give the list a go, will let you know how i go!

Obviosly, wolf with no name is replacing the reeve hunter now imo.

I certainly agree! If I need another reeve hunter I can pop out one from the well. (I would need it more than another wayfarer though).
Choosing the wrong prey target would hurt (e.g if my opponent moves the target away and it doesn't hugely impact him) so I will need to be aware of that

So I had a crack at the list. It seems to have some merit in continuing trials, but the match up was pretty attrocious
Two void archons... 4 swamp horrors with overtake...
Plus its been ages since ive played. Dhalia's haunting melody i forgot about, so my ambushers did nothing...... My opponent is a top tier player. His positioning and ability to scalpel out the wolves of orboros officers really hurt me Overtaking swamp horrors (from theme) obliterate small based infantry...
Good points: I had doubts on the rip horn, but turns out to be pretty solid! Sunhammer is pretty good still Opponent forgot what the feat did so that felt good. Succeeded on all fury checks which is lucky. I should have been a little more aggressive with Mohsar.
Those void archons though.... daaaaaaaaamn
