How do you guys play a "modern" Call of the wild list, now that the Themes are Merges as Wild Hunt? I find myself making the better wolf sworn list a lot (variations of 1xReeves 1xWolves + Skin walkers, well and LoTF). I think at least a Unit of Wolves of Orboros feels mandatory with Ambush. (how) Do you guys play Beast heavy? Living or mixed? What are your free choices, is 3 Wolves ok?
I know we kind of have a Theme force remix Thread but I feel like it is worth opening this one for this specific Theme, as it is kind of overshadowed by Bones and Dev Host.

I'm still playing a lot of beast-heavy Kromac2 in Wild Hunt (where I was playing it in Call before...) It doesn't change much. Lost a free solo. Happier to play with a few minions adds now, where I was playing it pretty much a straight beast brick before. Still get my discounted animi which is the main theme benefit for this list; not taking any Wolves at all.
I had another Call list that wasn't making as much use of the animus discount. I'm strongly leaning towards converting that to a very beast-heavy DH list, since the new Wild Hunt benefits are irrelevant to the list. I think that's one of the big bonuses of the new themes; you can play beast-heavy in anything now.

I was obliged to swap all my Call lists to Wild Hunt because of my self-limited engagement in Circle. So Im naturally playing beast-heavy. Its caused me to modify every Call list because of shifting stones, but overall it feels like a sidegrade so far. I need to finish painting my war wolves and try those, though. Ambush WoO have helped a bit with current scenarios too.

How was the text before? Isnt the problem on Taniths card or is that acutally fixed now?

I gave up trying to interpret PPs rules some time ago, after running into a number of nonsense or unintuitive rulings based in no way on typical English language, or accepted rules of construction.

Is this fixing a different Tanith stupid than the fact that her feat can make some animi more expensive under Wild Hunt? I don't see how the new wording fixes that...
Looks like the old wording was "When a living Circle warbeast in this army is forced to use its animus, reduce the COST of the animus by 1." So if anything this feels even more broken, since it now affects an opponent's living beasts as well. And lasts for the rest of the game? Is there some kind of default 1 turn expiration for feats? I tried to find it in the rules, but failed...

I think this is just a writing mistake, they forgot to write 'this army' after 'in'. The difference is that you only get the benefit inside CTRL, so there's even less reason to use the wilder. Tanith's problem could be easily solved by rewording her feat, and limiting her to 1 animus per beast during it.
