So I just completed an army swap trade for Menoth. I am primarily a Khador player, but have had a Grymkin army collecting dust for two years. I've been wanting to play Warriors of the Old Faith, and so have been shopping my Grymkin army in hopes of trading for a Menoth army with most of the models I would need to run WotoF.
Well, I hit the jackpot and am very happy with the trade I made. This is what I have.
So I have a couple of questions for you. FYI I own the full Khador lineup, a Menite Archon, and the Hermit (the later two just recently purchased at GenCon).
(1) In terms of running Warriors of the Old Faith, what are my "go to" models from what I now own?
(2) What key models do you think I should still buy? In particular...
(a) Feora 3 ... I'm inclined to purchase her just so that I have all 3 WotoF casters.
(b) Exemplar Vengers ... I'm disinclined to purchase these since I already own painted Uhlans and this unit seems to be a bit of a sideways swap. Thouths?
(c) Initiates of the Wall ... these guys look good. Maybe a bit slow for Cavalry but maybe not with Vlad 3. Would you recommend buying one unit?
(d) Did I miss something?
(3) If I wanted to start playing one Menoth theme other than WotoF, using just models I own, what would you recommend and why?
