Trump is POTUS, the Cubs won the World Series, and I made a Haley 2 list. It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.
Anyway, the only weird thing here is the Hammersmiths, so I'll explain that. It's just that in SR 2017, Haley can't win with a turn 2 feat as reliably as before, so how to adapt? Well, she needs staying power right? So maybe replacing light jacks with heavies is a good idea? So this list should have 2x Centurions instead of the Hammersmiths and a Hunter instead of the Charger right? Well, maybe not. Maybe it's better to add some offense with that ARM 19. Haley and the Stormwall can hold off those dirty Cryx for a couple turns, right? She can give Hammersmiths the SPD boost they need and they can smack enemy jacks out of zones, even follow up all the way and stay in CTRL. Hammersmiths hit fairly hard. They are cheap enough to trade and you have three, yet they're tough enough to not die too easily, especially if Haley controls engagement well.
Mainly this is a thought experiment but I'm sure that the caster can make the transition with a shift in strategy. This is probably exactly the sort of thing they had in mind when they designed SR 2017.
I think this list might have some trouble with infantry swarms, but Cygnar can handle that easily enough with the other list.
So what do you think? Off to a good start?
