THEME: Magnum Opus
Long story short, I was able to eek out a win I guess? Mostly because of clock, but as I was thinking about it afterwards, I’m not sure how I really handle this type of list? I was unlucky from the start, CG went first and drifted a Railless blast into 3 of my four Widowmakers. With the repo on his models, including the Battle engines, I was having a really difficult time closing the distance. On one good point, Behemoth took a hell of a beating, from one Railless and some other things, but still had enough going for him to with help from Boundless Charge, reach one of the engines and destroy it. Likewise a redlined Marauder was able to get to the other one and kill that. With the help of Sorshca’s FEAT, the jacks that could have taken free strikes or admonitioned to bad spots, were frozen and I was able to kill 2 of them with the Grolar. I do think that I lucked out though, that my opponent could have played more cage-ily and not been as vulnerable to my attacks, but I don’t know? In the end I feel it was an uphill fight, the overlapping benefits the CG have is quite strong and very threatening.
