@op: from what I see of your models you have the making of some nice eThags or lylyth3 lists in my opinion.
For example, I'm currently training with this eThags:
conflictchamber.com/?ca201b_-2iaDkEkK2828aOaRkacocofTb3b4Legion
[Theme] Ravens of War
[Thagrosh 2] Thagrosh, the Messiah [+25]
- Blightbringer [32]
- Golab [17]
- Harrier [0(3)]
- Harrier [0(3)]
- Seraph [14]
- Typhon [20]
Craelix, Fang of Everblight [0(6)]
Spell Martyr [1]
Spell Martyr [1]
Hellmouth [6]
Strider Scouts [9]
- Strider Scout Officer & Musician [0(4)]
Not sure I'd call this "competitive" but it has proven acceptable on the table, and it's certainly fun.
A very stupid assassination list I was playing out of theme before, and only got better with free points:
conflictchamber.com/?ca201b_-2fcVaPbvcObfaKaOaRbubqbbkab9jxLegion
[Theme] Children of the Dragon
[Lylyth 3] Lylyth, Reckoning of Everblight [+29]
- Angelius [17]
- Naga Nightlurker [8]
- Nephilim Bloodseer [8]
- Nephilim Bolt Thrower [11]
- Nephilim Protector [10]
- Seraph [14]
- Typhon [20]
- Succubus [0(4)]
Annyssa Ryvaal [8]
Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1]
Craelix, Fang of Everblight [0(6)]
The Forsaken [0(4)]
Ice Witches [7]
Again, a lot of competitive lists will have a sac pawn wardude or something similar, but for all the rest this list is an assassination nightmare.
The fact that lylyth3 does not bring any attrition buff to the list makes it not really competitive IMO but it also (short) fun on the table.
eauc I don't have double chosen - but I always fear running them without some defensive support since they are so expensive >.>
point-wise they're not that expensive compared to our beasts. 20pts for 40boxes ARM17 + regen so often at least ~ARM18. also one good damage roll only kill 1/5th of the unit, instead of doing half your beast. also SPD7 pathfinder is a good form or resilience in many cases, you can be exactly were you want to be and not waste time exposing youself while getting there. also, opponent has to deal with the pair of hellmouth too
but for this particular list, I guess it's more the splendor of 1 big dragon + 11 draconic centaurs on the table.
From what I've seen of it on the table, the impact of the chosen under battle lust + the good support of the AA are only the setup for the assassination move (with overruned Golab in primal). Hellmouths are in charge of holding the scenario long enough. Resilience is not the forte of this particular list (which is different from traditionnal primal lists).
List is more or less
