Good Evening All!
I’ve had some models sitting in the closet for awhile but the recent theme force shake up has sparked my interest again. To be honest, I was close to trading my lot for a circle but Legion keeps bringing me back with the aesthetic. Anyway, to get to the point, I’d like to get pointed in the right direction toward a competitive list using what I have. If the majority of what I have is no longer competitive, I understand and am open to purchasing some new models supplement ($200).
I’d like to get a gargantuan, I’ve always wanted one. I’m not opposed to Ogrun, Nyss, Beasts except for the lessers and nephilim (the characters being the exception)
Without further ado, here is what I’ve got:
Warlocks: pSaeryn pThagrosh pLylyth eLylyth
Warbeasts: Carnivean Ravagore Scythean Typhon Angelius Neraph Seraph Nephilim Bloodseer Shredder X8
Units: Max Legionnaires Max Scouts Max Ogrun Warspears
Solos: Shepherds X2 Deathstalker

I'm no good at competitive. But if you want a gargantuan + competitive list, that screams Primal Terrors to me. That would mean picking up quite a few models ($250 at least?).
Outside of that, there may be a list with Scouts & Deathstalker (picking up a 2nd DS and weapon attachment) in Ravens of War. eLylyth for anti-infantry but it has no answer for warjacks or the like.
Again - I'm not a competitive player so there are much wiser blighters here than I on the matter. This is just what jumps out at me when looking it over.

I like hellmouths, BB looks sweet but I’m also partial to the AA. What is is normally included in a primal terrors list? I’m worried about going one of the Lylyths even though I like gun lines with the prevalence of armor and tough I heard MK3 has.

If you'd settle with "solid" (not in the top competitive list until now, but totally able to handle itself in tournaments):
- the twins can play really well with the blightbringer in tournaments in ravens.
- eThags plays well with Blightbringer in ravens.
On the AA side:
- Absy1 AA is more on the cute side of things IMHO.
- eLylyth has a game now with AA in ravens. He solves her damage output problem. Still a lot a fury management problems though. But I've been having decent damage-dealing experiences with them now.
- eKallus has a fun list in Primal with AA, double chosens, double maws, golab.
So maybe counter intuitive, but I'd rather play BB in ravens and AA in primal now, personnally.
If you want really competitive then I guess it's BB in primal with ogruns and Anamag, but be aware that it's really a Trollbloods list on the table. Not much Legion-fun to be had.

BB brings a STR buff which is really sweet on Ogrun and Birbs. I have seen Kallus1 lists with BBs in Terrors. conflictchamber.com/?ca201b_-2hbskE28kB9icokGkGkJkJfTfTLegion [Theme] Primal Terrors [Kallus 1] Kallus, Wrath of Everblight [+30] - Blightbringer [32] - Harrier [3] - Ammok the Truthbearer [0(4)] Ogrun Bokur [5] Spell Martyr [1] Blighted Rotwings (max) [12] Blighted Rotwings (max) [12] Chosen of Everblight (max) [20] Chosen of Everblight (max) [20] Hellmouth [0(6)] Hellmouth [0(6)] Apparently someone went second at a tourney with this list.

You guys weren’t kidding! I do need a whole new model set, that’s okay though. I really like the look of maws, BB and chosen. All the expensive models, go figure. But it at least looks like I can use multiple casters with that particular list. If I’m going to be spending money then I think I’d rather invest it in models that are on the more competitive side of the spectrum. So I’ll pick up the BB and a couple of the other things recommended. I didn’t realize rotwings came so highly recommended. I don’t mind the idea of having a list that’s Trollbloodey because I’d imagine that’s a strong counter list in a two list setting.

Do consider that PP is still changing things up. There's no guarantee things that are competitive right are still so half a year from now. I don't know their schedule, but plenty of things will change in a relatively short time.

PP just announced that they will considerably slow down on the dynamic updates, stop CID, and just wait a few months to see where the post-oblivion theme forces are going... The only hint at some possible changes in the next year, was one PP staff on a podcast saying "Bethayne is high on the list of models that need some love in Legion". Which can mean absolutely anything, including nothing

eauc I don't have double chosen - but I always fear running them without some defensive support since they are so expensive >.> Granted, most real lists run 2 sets of them I guess... Maybe I should try out double Chosen + AA

If you aren't willing to invest in at least a Nephilim Bolt Thrower, pLyllyth is out.
With you Seraph, Neraph, Bloodseer, and Angelius you have the makings of a Fyanna list. You could pick her up cheap, grab an extra Neraph too. Put her in Ravens with the scouts or just all beasts in Oracles and you've got a pretty decent list. If you go ravens, you'll want a pair of harriers as well for that sweet requisition option.
