Thank you

Why convert when you can just buy the models?

It is for WTC in sept, release date falls on the same day as wtc. Officially we can use converted models for the tournament.

You could probably get by with grabbing a Protectorate Paladin and a Morrowan Precursor figure and sticking some wings on them; various wings are available from bits sellers including I think PP's own store.
Maybe base a conversion on the Minicrate "Ashes to Ashlyn"? If you have one or can find one on ebay of course...

It's tricky. I was planning to use some of the Raging Heroes models as proxies, but as I understand it the Archons are properly huge; I think someone posted that it was 4 inches tall with the wings? It might be tricky to find an angelic style model that big. But since I love the Raging Heroes models I'm going to plug them anyway: LINK 1LINK 2And before someone has a go at me for not supporting PP: I buy everything else from PP, but if you are going to give me an excuse to buy and use those damn fine models I'm taking it! EDIT: Oh, for an official tourney they're a no-go. Never mind

The Umbral Guardian might actually be a good stand in for both. Just throw some wings on it, greenstuff some menite or morrowan symbols and get the right weapons and you're off to the races. Technically it's on a medium base, but it's so tall I think you could definitely make it work on a large base as well.
For non-Infernal stuff as who knows when that's actually going to get to stores, GW's Stormcast Knight-Venator and Knight-Azyros are big angel-looking dudes on 50mm bases. Not sure what the WTC's conversion policy is on using other companies' models though.

Probably need to saw off her head and do that. Add some wings (wasn't there a minicrate model that had that?). DOne. Now that is a sad face cause she is a wonderful model but that is option.

Reaper has a few large angel-types in Bones. Those would make decent conversions.

Convergence's Aurora would also work as a starting point. She really just needs a shield to work as a Morrowan Archon. Kreuger with wings and a shield is another option.

I bought both the menite and Morrowan archon at GenCon. They are truly sizable models.

For starters, the archons seems to be designed to be unique enough that it probably won’t look good. There aren’t that many models in the line that already exist that are similar in scale and shape, and if it is for a tournament, you can’t really use third party models because of the 50% rule.
That said, I think maybe the super capey one of Haley3 might be the best start you can get? Combine that with wings from either Aurora or a griffin?
