So the newest spoiler revealed that Legions will get back Flank on marshalled jacks instead of extended deployment. Also you can take Ghost Snipers and Lys Healers in pairs as freebies.
Thoughts?

I absolutely approve of these changes. Jack marshals is a really cool mechanic, making the scyir more relevant is great. Hemera being included makes sense, I was surprised they didn't do it til now. I bought one recently too, so I can run her in theme with everyone.
Overall I think the theme's very appealing. The benefits (LoS + flank) are thematically fitting. I think the only caster that doesn't like the advance deployment being dropped for flank is Vyros1 (maybe aside from Kaelyssa cheese), and nobody plays him in LoD anyway.
I doubt anyone will take the double snipers, at least imo they're kinda poopy. Double lys is cute, but not great. It's only something I'd take as a specialist option.
Inb4 we get a new infantry caster that grants global tough and we get a cancer list a la exalted kappa

Apparently Jack Marshals also now gain the option to have their jacks shake stationary, knockdown, blind and the like. Pretty substantial buff i'd say!
Tyrone will like this especially. Storm Rager on a Scyir, Assail on a marshalled jack of choice sounds like a hella fun package.

I think mostly for 6 points to a column of your choice, along with being cheap flag holders under the new scenarios. I think it’s cool to have the flank back. Never got a chance to try the Elara2 Hydra of Doom! Also should be nice with a harpy or Siren that can blast away then move into to take down an over-extended heavy.

It's possible you need 2 for them to really be relevant, I've never tried. Good point about scenario, all the games I ran with or against them had no scenario.

Given that they do 6 points of damage together and solos usually have 5 points of hp, i imagine they very easily make their points back.

I'm just not sure how often you'll get to use them in practice. No anti-stealth / cloud on them and no repo (outside swift hunter) hurts. Time and testing will show. I'm getting somewhat tided over, though.

I wonder if defenders will get double sniper as an option too? Then they’d have swift hunter and repo.

On paper its blindingly fast and hits like a ton of bricks. Flight and Ghostly on the Harpy and Trident is a juicy combo.

Running Helios with only two other jacks makes broadcast power a bit redundant (although it will still be useful if you don't need your third shot boosted), but then if you're only running 3 jacks you don't really need the extra focus. I've never thought of sentinels as a screen unit, but with barrier and the healer they'll definitely be a tough nut to crack. I wonder if you won't be bleeding too many points that way, though.

Defenders have them I've been using a pair in Defenders a lot this spring and the few times were they didnt kill more than their points value, they dictated the enemy's movement enough to justify their points cost. Combine them with Heavy rifle teams and Kaelyssa and its starts to get silly.
