Oblivion themes came through on War Room; Druid Wilder is not allowed as a requisition option in Wild Hunt. Bug? Or change? (I'm guessing bug; the requisition options seem to be very buggy. If I already have a Stoneshaper in Bones, I get the option to add 2xStoneshaper, but if I don't have any I only get the option to add 1?) I noticed too, but the req. list is clear that it is supposed to work, so its definitely a bug. There are LOTS of bugs...

War Room: We put the 'K' in Kwality. Are you mocking the kwality we produce in the Motherlands, komrade?

I thought this made for an interesting example of how a list changed with the new themes. It should be fairly obvious that neither version of the list is terribly competitive (but fun to play...) conflictchamber.com/?c8201b_-0W3TmD4M4M4M4M4z5A5g5g5fmY5f

I took my old Kaya and the Howlers list and ported it to the new themes... and realized that Wild Hunt wasn't really doing much for me anymore (apart from the free models, which you can now get anywhere.) So I swapped it to Dev Host but only took a single unit of Tharn - love a chance to get my Bloodtrackers on the table again, but still wanted a beast-heavy list. I lose the Wilder, but she is mostly fury control in the original, and I'm losing a heavy warbeast as well. I lose the Blackclads, but awesome as they are I find I rarely got much use out of them in this list, since I more often shoot a round, retreat, then receive a charge with this list. I gain LotF and two Wolf-rider champs; yes, I _did_ just take the most expensive reqs available to me, but they also seemed like the best options to match the list and fun to play - swapping one champion out for a White Mane might make more sense tactically. I still end up with a mostly-stealthed shooty beast-heavy list - the idea behind the original - but have solos that are much better at getting forward to contest things.
Not pretending it's a great list, but thought it nicely showcased how the infantry themes can make quite interesting beast-heavy hybrid lists now.

I like the list. If you miss the Wayfarer you can take a Well and I think it fits right in.
Beginning of Mk3 I ran something similar, with Shadowpack and Bloodtrackers I made shooting cry. Less effective with the amount of eyeless sight out there now, but still.
I listed to Boosted Rolls and liked the Death Wolves in DH ability again, and I've been thinking of Kromacs again.

I've been messing around with pKrueger in Dev Host. Played a couple of different variations but had an idea that I'm excited to put on the table next weekend.
pKrueger -Blood Shaman -Ghetorix -Gorax
Wolf Rider Champion Wolf Rider Champion LotF Night Witch Gallows Grove
Croc Pot Max Wolf Riders Max Wolf Riders Shifting Stones Bloodweavers with CA Bloodweavers
The Bloodweavers make a straight swap to Ravagers which was my original intention, but I guess there are a lot of ways to spend those final points (some solos can be shifted around as well). I'm pretty excited to try it!

I'm pretty excited to try it! This seems odd list building to me. Krueger 1 brings tools to kill infantry. Then your whole list ALSO kills infantry. You have basically nothing that is good in to heavies. Wolf riders (or LotF!) with 2" reach is cute and all, but i think the one unit is enough, and you back it up with Ravagers for something to punch harder. The pot seems superfous as you only have one guy who needs corpses, so a well can easily do that job (kill your own dudes if you have to) but does more work on a turn by turn basis and the cost is virtually the same as you dont have to pay for one of your solos.

It had occurred to me that the list doesn't actually bring many hard hitting pieces, though that said, this is designed to primarily be a drop into gunlines. My current meta has some worrying lists (Garryth2, Issyria, Sloan with 9 hunters, Syvestro with double BE's) and they are dominating. My experience using Ravagers just sees them trivially removed. While I know Wurmwood in Bones has great game into the CG list, I haven't found it brilliant into some of the others. Basically I'm hoping that this would be enough to scare away these gunlines as they aren't particularly durable, so the need for huge amounts of armour cracking is a little unnecessary.
However, there is certainly room for some changes. I'm keen on keeping the Wolf Riders, but by dropping the Bloodweavers, Night Witch and Grove it frees up 26 points. They could easily become a unit of Ravagers with a Shaman for no KD Tough. This list is still taking shape and I'll be taking some form of it to a Steamroller on Saturday, so I'll have the chance to see how it fares. Aside from what you mentioned, is there anything else you'd suggest?

If the goal is to play against things that care that you are high DEF against ranged attacks, and you dont have to kill an ARM buffed colossal i guess you could be totally fine with this. Seems like you might have to play your other list in to the vast majority of the game though. What do you pair it with?

My pair currently switches out a fair bit as I test things out. Wurmwood (Bones), eKrueger (Dev Host) or pBaldur (Dev Host) typically make the cut. I am highly considering giving Wurmwood in Dev Host a shot though. I was highly surprised by my eKrueger list as I assumed it lacked teeth. Was very mistaken about that.
Oh...and our meta rarely sees colossals. Not sure why though. Makes list building a bit easier from my perspective.

I guess any of those lists are pretty good all comers. Should work fine then

So I ended up taking a variation of the pKrueger list to a local steamroller today. I saw what you meant ( Trollock) by lacking punch, so the list became: pKrueger -Ghetorix -Gorax Wolf Rider Champion Wolf Rider Champion LotF Ravager Shaman Croc Pot Max Wolf Riders Max Wolf Riders Max Ravager + CA Brighid and Caul Shifting Stones And first round...Khador (Old Witch in Armoured Corps) with 4 heavies..time for a slight stress test I guess. I ended up accidentally winning on scenario (Bunkers), top of 3 when my opponent failed to contest any of the flags, but I let him rewind to put some Jacks up to stop the autowin. Still managed to remove 2 of them, ding up a third, and 2 tanker solos and his Eliminators went down. My opponent was going to be left struggling to get pieces onto the scenario and so he conceded. I have to say, I like this list a lot. DEF 18 wolf riders are a real pain to deal with at range (plus whatever terrain you can find) and they threat FAR. They might not kill heavy targets, but they can hurt them and there are plenty of hard hitting models to follow up. I'm sure this list would struggle into seriously high armour across the board, but Jack spam is becoming less common and that would also be where list 2 comes in to play. Still undecided on what to pair with, but I think this at least will become a tournament staple for me.
