Zaal starts with a soul, that's fine. My concern isn't the caster or Malice or whatever starting with a soul, it's the caster and 6 soul trappers meaning the caster can start on 7 souls. Turn 1 focus isn't actually that useful and you're paying 6 points for those Soul Trappers. If you want to invest that much, good for you? You'd still need to keep them within 10" of your caster to actually benefit from them on any given turn and then only get the benefit on the next turn. It would make Terminus amazing though indeed, but right now Kromac 2 can also gain corpses from the Well of Orboros or Spirit Cauldron, for instance.

I'd absolutely pay 6 points to guarantee that Scaverous, Gaspy, Denny or Terminus start their second or third turn with an extra 6 focus. Also the soul trappers don't all need to be that close, they can daisy chain souls into the caster.

Instead of Hyper-Aggressive, give Defensive Strike to something (Light jacks? Any three jacks chosen by the player? Solos?). That would let the glass cannons of Cryx do what they're meant to.
The Sepulcher would be cool if it could generate something other than Mechanithralls. I'd also like to see the thralls it spits out have their combat action that turn. Since they die to a stiff breeze, that would improve their chances of doing something worthwhile.

It would actually be nice if Aiakos 2 could get an update, mostly having the feat apply to everything instead of just his battle group, but I fear he missed his window with Black Fleet.
On that note, I also think the theme suffers from wanting to be jack theme, it was after all created when Black Industries was not yet a thing, and I think we could justify losing Aiakos 1, because he doesn't really fit it if it's not all about jacks. The Warwitch and Iron Lich vibe is probably fine, so Denny 0 can stay. Deathjack and Malice, especially the latter because of soul mechanics, still seem thematic and maybe it's an opportunity to include the other "Infernal Machines" like Cankerworm and Nightmare, possibly fixing the latter.
I was also thinking about how cool it would be if this was our version of "Secret Masters" where it's all about recycling Mercenaries. So would allow any number of Mercenary units/solos that count towards points, but can not be free. We could build a pirate boat that gets recycled into Thralls, or a Steelhead force that slowly turns into zombies. In that case the Necrosurgeon remaining as a free option would be good. Might also want some friendly soul collection from this, possibly from Soul Trappers (only).

Reminds me of MK1 shenanigans with Asphyxious 2, where you would just march an entire unit of steel heads into a cloud to reap their souls and proceed to just annihilate everything. But recycling into thralls is more fun to me, and probably not as broken.
