Putting the FUN back in Legion - Lylyth1-Edition

Have you considered running the Blackfrost Shard for getting up to +5 on damage rolls?

So first of: as one of the "fellow opponents" I am super happy that you don't get discouraged and that you are planning a comeback!

As I mentioned in earlier conversations I think the most important tip is to figure out what kind of list is fun for you to play (seems you took that to heart ) and than playing that list over and over again.
By focusing on one list you can make of for some of the experience disadvantage you might have.

Also I would chose little goals for every game. For example to remember one special rule on something, or to get one special order of activation right or something like that. So you can experience little "victories" if you get those things right without depending on your opponent.

Playing painted and just putting your beautiful models on the table can be quite satisfying too.

I just finished painting my first 75pt of mercs so I can offer some variation to my circle with a faction I have three games experience so far.
I am also willing to play lower point sizes or alternative scenarios to SR. (Just because the stormbreak league is official finished does not mean we can't play it anymore...)

As far as what little advice I can give, I think anything I say hinges on what you want to do with this list. To mirror what others have said, what are you trying to accomplish? If not the win, is there a certain tactic you are trying out or a model's performance?

I'm a sucker for Lylyth1 + Blackfrost Shard for the above mention of a +5 damage swing. Keeping the BFS alive has been an issue for me (I'm not that good of a player). If you are facing a low model/high armor army across the board, then that combo really shines.

Because of her spell list, L1 can run minions more effectively than most (if not all) of our other 'locks. I think you are wanting to stick to Legion specific during your return.

I think your list is a great catch all - using lots of anti-infantry to clear out the opposing army smaller models and then looking to leveraging Parasite to finish off the hardier things. My only critic is that I am not sure if the Scythean is worth the spot rather unless you know you're going to run into tough?
