For some reason, it seems that if a minion gets released, it’s always gators or farrow. What about all the other lesser minions that get ignored mostly?
Totem hunter - this ones from a totally unknown land, but seems to have a “ chupacabra “ theme.... it’s be cool to see a unit of them
Efaariit- these seem to be the neutral/ good characters in skorne lands. Focused mostly on trading, a caravan would be an interesting force. Perhaps the warlocks could even use some of the “wild” skorne beasts ( like not characters or Cyclopes).

I think it would be cool to see another minion subfaction arise. The efaarit would be really neat, especially if they used their trading nature as a mechanic for juggling buffs or fury. I could see them using similar species that are present in skorne but some are probably only able to be subjugated through the pain the skorne dish out so there's probably not a lot of overlap that can happen.

If they hadn't locked the lore so much, Grymkin and Crucible Guard should have been set up that way. Heck, CG converted a few merc models to Partisans!

I am good with gators. We already have the awful(with the exception of mistspeaker and rask) trog sub faction

We already have the awful(with the exception of mistspeaker and rask) trog sub faction I actually really like ambushers and trawlers, but my meta is full of lists that dont like to be ambushed/jammed. I'd personally like to see a subfaction that consists of the human tribes in the wilds. Circle, khador, and mercs/protectorate have that somewhat covered with wolfsworn, kossites, and idrians respectively but I'd like to see a single list that covers that theme. Gobbers and bogrin could be a thing as well. Not as a full theme there are trollkin kriels that aren't part of the United kriels that could work as minions, maybe even being partisan with trolls proper.

A whole faction of rebellious gobber's would be hilarious. A lowly gobber grunt stumbles into crucible guard territory and accidentally imbibes some warcaster serum and it has unexpected results. He rallies other gobbers (and some ogrun) into the UNION. they fight for equal pay, with blood! I have no idea what beasts they would use. Honestly it would be more warmachine than hordes at this point but I'd love to see gobbers warcaster/warlock

It feel like these things should be very minor, only a barely playable force as there’s already a lot and they’ll work for anyone.
Like 1 warlock, a few units and solos, that’s it. Theme possibly, but only one.
They’d be in not as a super competive force but more as something that exists purely for fun or story.

Also it’d be interesting to see Victor Pendrake as a warlock. Maybe his main thing would be he could take beasts from any faction, give him 8-9 fury, let him be the ultra squishy beast master. And just from that alone he’d work.

That would be interesting, but Pendrake would need something akin to the CG's juice in order to do that. Of course, Arkadius would probably be a good source on that, now that I think of it.

Circle, khador, and mercs/protectorate have that somewhat covered with wolfsworn, kossites, and idrians respectively but I'd like to see a single list that covers that theme. I get the idea, but it would need a fluff shift or two - how do those geographically very dispersed groups come together? At present, the Circle does that through the Wayfarers to communicate and the leylines to move people around. Second, what about casters/locks? They would presumably need to be different to humans going through the Wilding, where the Circle picks them up. That is apparently not impossible, given Arkadius, although I'm not sure how much of Arkadius' warlockness is actually his magic influencing the mechanika rather than the beasts (doesn't explain his influence on Razor Boars though).
Already got Boomhowlers who can fill that role. Doesn't mean you can't have more, but that approach is already represented.
More Efaarit would be great - the models are lovely but rarely used.
I thought Carver2 had already been promised, on a chariot - the Bringer of More Mobile Massive Destruction?

I havent seen anything regarding a promise but minilock/caster to full lock caster is a pattern.
