- Tharn: You lose. - Armored Corps: Unless your opponent obligingly walks his army into "feat on me"-range you can't really crack the armor. Then you die to Oppression Tankers.
- Immortals: They are better than you and you will most likely lose. - Dawnguard: Better than you and you will probably lose. - Banes: You have a decent shot because you outthreat them -and can out-trade Riders- but the recursion and whatever their casters bring are tough to deal with. Your stuff is squishy and you can't afford to slip up. - Trolls: If they bring Kolgrimma and co. you lose. If only we had a caster whose name is a killing word against most infantry lists... Not that I completely disagree with you; LoS does feel a little left behind, but I don't think it's as bad as everyone makes out these days.

Well, the Void Archon has a whole thread to it, so I won't rehash that change here.
Small changes to the other Khador-viable Archons; Menite gains Divine Inspiration, Morrow loses Set Defense and drops to CMD8.
The Hermit also drops to CMD8 and all his Whispers become Magic Abilities. I still think that he's a solid option, Telemetry at 13" and Ruin at 10" is still very usable.
The Thamarite Advocate is a strange one now. The ability to remove damage for killing enemies up to 17" away certainly seems handy, and it is still only a 3pt filler. Could be good on things like BoB'd Demo Corps, or to keep your jacks ticking over. That said, I'm not sure why they're so determined for the advocate to have such a weird slew of abilities. If she had any two of the three changed ones I think shed be great. By all means drop Hex Bolt if you need to.
Glyn Cormier is slowly getting nerfed into obscurity. Still a great ability, but getting harder and harder to trigger.

It's funny because I hear similair noises coming from the protectorate side: something with innate relentless charge and steady. Maybe it's a case of "grass is greener"... I think a chunk of it is we have more access to pathfinder/BC than PoM. The caster comparisons are something I'm still trying to figure out due to lack of experience with PoM in general.

Maybe, but I think that looking at the list, Uhlans are easier to use than Vengers: Magic Weapons are not (really) an issue and the higher base ARM plus steady means they are less easily controlled; having played PoM for a short while I can attest that while Vengers are slightly more threatening than Uhlans when not charging, that is still only slightly more threatening than kittens.
You have kickass solos for stuck-in work; if you just want to cruise missile shit, either will work but one doesn't need to get hurt to be able to charge over a wall or something.
But the difference isn't so big that I'd say "go spend a few dozen hard earned whatever-currency-you-use to pick up the other unit".

From the Khador angle I would run this as an alternative to WoW with the Vengers Magic Blessed Weapons (no clue as to caster yet). The comparison is really favourable both ways as in a PoM pairing the easy pathfinder, and higher dmg being more interesting, along with Kovnik Markov being an awesome solo on his own. I can see some very interesting ways of covering list weaknesses with this.
