Greetings whimsical horror enthusiasts!
I am brand new to the forums. Firstly I would like to extend a fond hello, and a thank you for all the advice I have thus gleaned from the community!
A little about me: I originally played in MkI and then stepped out for the longest of times. Recently I started playing MkIII with Circle. I was able to gather a large group of new players to the cause. my FLGS community was not the friendliest to newer players and had kind of died off. Luckily with the 10 i have recruited we recently wrapped up a journey man league and most of now have completely painted 75pt+ lists.
However I have grown bored of painting browns tans and forest greens and am seeking to break the monotony with something a little more fun. I consider myself to be a friendly competitive player. In other words I'm here to have a good time, be challenged, help out when i can (much to my detriment) and hopefully pull off a win.I heard the grymkin can be quite challenging and rewarding to play so here I am.
I picked up the Dreamer, king of nothing, and the child
along with a slew of beasts
2xclockatrice
3x skin and moans
2x cage rager
1x rattler
1x gorehound
4x crabits
as well as solos I looked into
4x gremlin swarms
Ms. Rose
and of course... the Deathknell
Iv'e never run anything this beast heavy and I'm sure that power attacks will be necessary to pull of scenario wins. My background prior to circle was infantry heavy cryx and for circle im playing DH mostly. Beast heavy seemed nice change of pace.
so I'm asking if anyone would be kind enough to share some tricks of the trade. as well as suggestions for any combos that bring a smile to your face when you pull them off. any help would be appreciated! look forward to picking the brains of the wicked harvest!
oh one last thing... I have a good friend that favors Khador Armored corps. how do we deal with the high armor multi-wound tough buggers contesting zones??? thanks!
TLDR: Greetings new here! new Grymkin player looking for tips and tricks of the trade!
