Hi everyone!
I don't know if i'm writing in the correct section, but i would like to ask if someone of you have some picture or idea about a possible converion for a MoW chariot. A converion WITHOUT HORSES. I mean, i like horses but i never understood the idea of a pair of horses moving like 2-3 tons of steel around the battlefield... it seems a bit odd.
I saw a lot of gun carriage conversions that make it like a tank, and i would like to see if someone had the same idea for the MoW chariot. I don't own the model yet, also because i live in europe and I think it isn't relased yet here, but i would like to see some options before buying it, because I play very few and I would like to give more relevance to my model's "look".
Thank you in advance!

I've looked into this myself but there's not a ton of conversions specifically for MoW chariots readily out there. At least not by browsing Google images and major forums. It might be the nature of what a chariot actually is. Unlike the enclosed, tanky, more "vehicular" Gun Carriage, the open-air platform-on-wheels aspect of the chariots calls for even more creativity. Here are some text ideas that may help with online image searches... - A dirigible or magical hovercraft - Pulled by Berserkers or large/ magical beasts* - Pushed by a 'jack like a wheelbarrow (skeptical here) - A walker with mechanical legs - Skis instead of wheels and a sail - A boat version on a water base - A third wheel up front and a steam engine for power - A sidecar attached and a steam engine *Like Soul Samurai's MoW T-Rex

I think those are some great suggestions eathotlead ! I've been drawing a blank on ideas for this myself. The only thing I can think of is to get rid of the horses, move the "cab" forwards and then build up a back with another pair of wheels or some tracks, so it looks something like a turret-forwards versions of one of those small armoured vehicles:

I think a two legged "walker" would be super sweet!

Nice renders Gobber! Did you model everything yourself?

Carriage body is from scratch, bears/minigun/train/legs/warjack parts off of thingiverse; i believe the MOW was on yobi3d but the website doesn't seem to be working anymore

Gobber, what about making the Walker taller and putting the gun on the bottom? The mechanical strain on those upper leg segments would be incredible with it bent down like that. The chicken leg design would allow for a wider firing arc than straight legs, I say keep that.

Could go Quad instead of biped, if you can find appropriate forelegs. It would also better approximate what the horses could do as well.

Bit taller, underslung gun, added controls and a few more greebles all of which adds up to a nicer result. May get around to a four legged version but the walkers can all kick in the star wars mini games so I ain't too worried about the melee being represented already
