Thyra - Guardians Blood of Martyrs Judicator Vassal of Menoth x2 Vassal Mechanik x1 Wrack x2 min Choir Nicia, Tear of Vengeance Daughters of the Flame max Flamebringers x2
What I liked: -The flexibility, and capability to engage in melee safely, of Thyra -How absurdly strong the Judicator can get in melee (seriously. A Stormclad charged it,wrecked the entire right side, then the Judicator went and replied by one-rounding a Hurricane with a focus to spare) -Ambushing/Vengeance Daughters. These ladies won an entire flank basically by themselves
What had no effect: -Blood of Martyrs. He got too close and charged by a Hurricane. -most of the support. Feels like I may be overloading on support for only 2 jacks, but the Judicator really wants focus and Thyra really like handing it out.
What I disliked: -Flamebringers. They lacked the punch to get the job done, even when buffed with Silence of Death, and absolutely died to any rebuttal.
So with that being said, I'm trying to think of any list I can come up with, still in Guardians, to replace the Flamebringers with something hopefully more potent. Best I can think of is Temple Flameguard, but wondering if anybody has some more...interesting answers.
Thyra, -Blood -Sanctifier -Dervish Nicia Pyrrhus 1x Mechanik Kell Bailoch Min Choir 1x Max Daughters 1x Max Flamebringers 2x Max TFG w UA
This list was gross on attrition because you just aren't clearing all those TFG. With Nicia, Kell, and ambushing Daughers you can usually scalpel anything out of a zone with ease and the list ALWAYS has assassination threat. Blood of Martyrs is really good but you have to know when and how to apply that threat. The Flamebringers are very scary but I preferred one unit because they HAVE to be dealt with or they just go crazy. Now this was all before Primal Terrors and Slayer spam so it may not be as good now but it can grind people to death.
