Hi, I got a good chunk of Cygnar since MKIII started, but concentrated more on Trolls, because they worked more intuitvely for me. I collected stuff for Storm Divison, Heavy Metal and Sons of the Tempest. In the meantime Gravediggers CID happend and that the new fancy. That also means that list discussion seems to be very blunt outside of Haley3 GD or maybe a bit so Siege 2? So my question is: how would you build Lists for the other 3 themes mentioned today? I do own many things in faction for this, but not a lot of doubles (pretty much just the ironclad Chassis and GMCA). I do not have too much experience with Cygnar, so if they are a good learning experience that is also a plus

I can just list who I have: Maddox Striker1 Kraye1 Nemo1 Nemo3 Haley2 Brisbane1 Nemo3 and maddox in SD could make sense. Nemo1 and Kraye in HM and Brisbane in SoT? I am mostly looking forward to play the Nemos I think. Proxing a bit of stuff is not a problem. I can also make a run down of my collection later! Much thanks in advance for any input!

Well for stupid lists there is this idea. conflictchamber.com/?c1201b_-0e7C9c9cf6akahaeaeaiaibzbzCygnar Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm Division [Stryker 1] Commander Coleman Stryker [+30] - Firefly [8] - Firefly [8] - Hurricane [39] - Squire [0(5)] Stormsmith Stormcaller (3) [0(5)] Field Mechaniks (min) [3] Field Mechaniks (min) [3] Stormsmith Storm Tower [4] Stormsmith Storm Tower [4] Storm Strider [18] Storm Strider [18] The list does leverage stryker 1s earthquake (assumming no knockdown tec.) and snipe swapping and is suprisingly good into medium infantry (tharn/chosen) as the lightlning generator attacks dont triger rapid healing (only the initial attavk does) More over you have a ac colissal (or battle engine) and a +5 armor feat to eat opponents alpha. Pushing hard each turn with the list feating top of two or bottum of 1 really can tilt people. Its not optimized just goofy enough to annoy opponents Optimizing in nemo 3 helps to maximize damage at the loss of sustainability

Here's a variant on my personal favorite Stryker1 list: conflictchamber.com/?c1201b_-0n7C9B9E9y9Iakaz9Canaj9bbzCygnar Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Heavy Metal [Stryker 1] Commander Coleman Stryker [+30] - Centurion [17] - Defender [16] - Lancer [10] - Ol' Rowdy [18] - Squire [0(5)] Archduke Alain Runewood, Lord of Fharin [0(4)] - Cyclone [13] Captain Arlan Strangewayes [0(4)] Journeyman Warcaster [4] - Charger [9] Storm Strider [18] I run this with two chargers, two Centurions, and sword knights as a screen, but I've substituted here with Rowdy/Defender because you're short on models. In my case, I run two arcane shielded centurions, which are a hard nut to crack. They're insane under Stryker's feat. You'd be doing the same with centurion/rowdy. Blur on Stryker, and keep that lancer safe until just the right moment. Then, it runs forward to arc the earthquake and everything else you've got shoots the opposing caster to death. You'd need to proxy Runewood, and he's less good without sword knights, but it can aim for 2d3 RAT10 or POW14 shots, then move 5" afterwards. Very nice.
