I was tinkering with war room and i built a list that sort of came together nicely i think. The idea was that high DEF is better when you cant be knocked down. I also wanted to try the big bird, preferably on una. To protect una i figured that Mire together with a forest from Baldur should be able to keep her safe. Mire can run a bone swarm, and that wants a crock pot. That meant LotF becomes viable. I also wanted a well with Baldur for a 14" feat. Then i basically filled up with beasts. It worked out pretty well i think Theme: Call of the Wild Baldur the Stonecleaver - WB: +31 - Pureblood Warpwolf - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 17) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 14) - Shadowhorn Satyr - PC: 12 Lord of the Feast - PC: 0 Una the Falconer - PC: 0 - Storm Raptor - PC: 34 Blackclad Wayfarer - PC: 0 Underchief Mire - PC: 4 - Boneswarm - PC: 7 Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron - Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron: 5 Well of Orboros: 10 How does it feel? Have i forgotten anything crucial?

Primal, you need primal. At some point something will NEED to die and Primal provides MAT/POW.
And if your go to muscle is the raptor then how about a Mist speaker to buff that Raptor as fully as you can?

Wraithbane + stone skin should handle most armor in the game. If its found to be an issue during testing then the shadow horn could become a gnarl horn for some extra punch in the list. The problem I see is scenario. There are no units that can score here. There's a counter intuitive interaction where the pot isn't a warrior model and as such cannot score circular zones. The only thing here that can do it is Baldur and you don't wan to have to risk him to get scoring done. Swapping out the black clad for a unit of stones and relying on the well to bring in a source of hunters mark is how I would fist that issue.

POW 21 and ignoring ARM/DEF buffs is enough for me i think, but MAT 6 is indeed an issue.
Bringing in the mist speaker isnt really an option as then i cant take Mire, and then Una has way less to hide behind etc. The list becomes a totally different list then.

There is an option to make the Goat a Gorax, a unit of swamp gobbers and a unit of stones though. That gives me both access to Primal if i need the MAT buff and two units that can score/contest... EDIT: right... No gobbers as i have the pot...

elshinareIt seems like a VERY strong piece though as it enables both LotF and the boneswarm as well as giving threat extension or puppet strings to my MAT 6 list...

I don't think you can kill a corpse loaded S&M under DK and as well now they come in pairs.

I don't think you can kill a corpse loaded S&M under DK and as well now they come in pairs. Not in one round by using only the stalker no. I can however soften it uo with shooting and/or apply grievous wounds to it. It doesnt feel like i would auto lose a game where my opponent has a S&M. I do think ill switch the goat for a gorax, shifting stones and a gallows grove though. Maybe not so much for primal but also for scenario reasons

Auto-lose ofc not... But it helps when you can go 1-1 (ignoring the primal downside... which we shouldn't!).
Against Warmachine you may want to commit the raptor as a way to force you'r opponent's hand and primal will make it that much more destructive.
