So I was looking at a few of the new models that came out and I noticed a new lesser warlock was available, Underchief Mire. My question is since he is a lesser warlock if you take him in a theme that makes him have partisain Skorne, would his warbeasts inherit that trait and also be considered Skorne? I believe they do, but I was hoping someone on here could provide some clarification and insight. Thank you in advance.

If you read the theme bonuses, it says minion warbeasts controlled by a Skorne warlock. So nope, it would not be friendly faction. Edit: Whoa hang on, I need to learn to read. But I think even in the case where Mire somehow became partisan Skorne, no, that wouldn't change the rules on another card by default.

I realized I misread the theme, it say you can include them even if they have partisan [skorne] not they gain partisan[skorne]. My apologies for my misunderstanding. I am still curious how that interaction would work, but I am guessing it isn't a scenario that can happen currently. Additionally I am guessing you are right that it would make the caster faction, but not necessarily their attachments/battlegroup. Thank you again for your feedback!

If he was Partisan Skorne and being treated as a member of the Skorne faction while in a Skorne-led army, his Battlegroup would be made up of Skorne Warbeasts, and he wouldn't be able to take Minion Warbeasts. Unless it gets changed, Disciples of Agony only allow the Warlocks to take Minion Warbeasts, so said Partisan would be stuck with Titans, Basilisks, Cyclops, etc.
That's how both Cain3 and Blaize have to organize their Battlegroup. With the exception of their Bonded Warjacks, they much use Mercenary Jacks when leading a Mercenary Army/Theme Force, and use Cygnar Jacks when leading a Cygnar Army/Theme Force.
The Undermire Chief is a bit of an oddity, though, since he can take non-Faction Warbeasts in his Battlegroup.

It's also important to remember that since the skorne warlock's minion beasts become skorne beasts, they can't give or receive friendly faction animi from warbeasts that are still minion, i.e. whatever is on mire. So he cant really function as an animus bot, unfortunately.
