Game 39, getting close to my 50 goal.
Rasheth -Krea -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Abiden Hakar 2x Noviates Vessel 3x full immortals
Garryth -Moros -Wyshnailer -2x light jacks -AFG -Trident -Trident 3x Mechanics Skeryth Sniper Electromancer Electormancer
Scenario was Invasion
T1. He runs up. Gets up road to war and occultation on some electromancers. He's got a trident on my left and a fane and a unit of snipers on the right. Everything else is central. T1. I dont have a hard delivery system in this list like I do Zaal2, but I have learned that if you stay out of a trident's aiming range and go +2 def that it cant hit as well as it sounds. On the left, I give +2 and run onto a hill. In the middle I just move up. On the right, full court press. Krea animus up to protect a whole unit of immortals in the middle and Rasheth gets up the animus to protect the SG.
T2. On my left, he opts to get bold and charge the trident in. He cant shoot off those immortals at def very well. + it will his model on the hill and take away the +2 def. It kills 4 guys. In the middle, he fires the other trident and AFG into my SG. I shield guard a shot and take a little damage. On the right, the light jacks, fane postion and the rifle guy kills an immortal....perfect. He moves up Garryth and feats and shoots the AG for more damage. T2. I heal up the SG a bit with the objective and vengence on the right for distance and on the left into the trident. I maybe do 2 points on the trident. In the middle, he has backed up so the only thing I can charge is the objective. I'll take it. In goes the SG. I take a feat shot, live and kill the objective. I move up the krea and get up its animus and take a trident shot for it. Does a bit. On the right, i go hard right and stay 14" from Garryth and kill one guy of the sniper team and tie up Skeryth and a jack. On the left, also go hard right, use a soul to get incorporeal and pull off some funky charges and take down that trident. In the middle, i just move up and stay outside of 14" with that unit of immortals. Team shaman and raider kill the 3 mechaincs. I score the zone and the objective. 2-0.
t3. He upkeeps his spells. On the right, Garryth take a shot, kills a guy and get off immortality. AFG kills the Krea. Trident kills the SG. Skeryth + jack kills about 6 immortals. No score 2-0. T3. Rasheth moves up and feats, gets off blood mark and a sunder spirit on the trident. On the left, there are only electromancers in the zone, I kill them all and get pressure on the AFG. On the left, I kill the sniper, unhorse Skeryth and kill a jack. In the middle, I kill the other light. I score 2 more taking me to 4-0.
t4. Garryth can shoot rasheth. Its pretty much his only way out. I am camping 3 and have abidan hidden. He shoots me, I shield guard. He gets up mortality on me. Not sure if we played the correctly or not. Probably not since the shot actually hits Abidan. But oh well. AFG moves up and fires into me. I live just fine. He runs in Whyslanier to the left zone. No score. t4. I can just clear the left zone and win, but what the hell fun is that. I move up Hakaar and put attacks into the AFG, but really it gets me closer to Garryth so I can toss out the +1 to hit. Rigth unit runs with incorporeal. I start to act through them since Garryth has stealth. I get up carnivore on the middle unit, land a blood mark and a boosted sunder spirit. I charge him with 3 immortals and the 2nd one kills him with a reroll.

Game 40. Xerxis -Tibbers -Krea SG SG AG Abidan Hakaar 2x full immortals 1x min immortals
vs. Gearheart -Alice -Suppressor -Vanguard -Retaliator Interceptor Mechanic Prospero -Vindicator Crucible Guard Infantry -UA Rocket Assault troops
Scenario is Invasion
T1. I win the die roll, HUGE advantage for me. I run up, very evenly split. SG's in the middle, full units on the flanks, min unit in the middle. Defenders ward goes to the unit on the right. I hold back a guy from each unit to shut down his feat a bit. T1. he also advances up. Hotshot on the jack, snipe on the CG infantry.
T2. I run up. Feat, tighten people up, flank units get +2 def. T2. Gearheart feats and starts on an SG. I shield guard both shot. The Retaliator moves up black oils an SG. In come the assault troops. I kill two with defensive strikes. Two of the 3 roll crits to hit and do insane damage since they have crit fire. The CG infantry kill it off and start on the other one, but without it being oiled, its a bit harder to kill. Prey from the feat moves over to it. I get charged from the vanguard and shot from the other jack and the SG falls. The battle engine kills all the models in the right unit but the one I held back. no score.
T3. Ok, i have killed nothing and down both SG's and have vengence on 1 guy...But Gearheat is within charge range of 3 immortals but I dont have LOS. I need LOS to get the distance from the charge. There is a vanguard and the heavy in front of him blocking lOS. In comes Tibbers. Animus to make a small path and he easily kills the vanguard. Thanks to the bond, I overtake and get him out of they way. Xerxis combo smites the heavy out of the way and then casts tac supremacy on himself, hands out stir the blood and gets out of the way. Hakaar charges in and kills the 3 assualt troops. Path clear. Krea moves up and paralyzes Geatheart. 3 immortals kill him with a reroll.

Game 41, mixing up the battle group and trying out Despolier
Morghul2 -Despoiler -Archidon -Krea SG AG Abidan Noviate 3x Immortals
vs.
Kreoss2 -Judicator Gravus Bastion Senschal Warder Bastions 2x Exemplar with UA Errants with UA
Scenario was from the 2019, King of the Hill.
T1. He runs up. Judi/slightly right. There is a house in the middle, he is to the right of that. Bastions in the middle, exemplars on the flanks, errants to the right. He runs all the way up, very agressive. Resolve goes on the bastions. T1. I can tell already that I can win on the left. He is very weak over there. I have the SG deployed on that side. I activate M2 and get up shadowplay on Despoiler and charge into a water hazard. We used the cluster method, and there are 8 pieces of terrain on the board. Its a lot. I walk everyone up on the right into rubble. I run in the middle, but stay just outside of threat ranges for most of the army.
T2. Gravus moves over gives a unit of exemplar on the left desperate pace. 4 of them are are able to charge in. 5 dead immortals with cleave and overtake. The judicator moves up and with the choir, drops 2 flame throwers on the right unit of immortals. Between horrible rolls and my tough checks, he covers 8 guys with the 2 templates and I only lose two. He goes in agressive with the errants and I lose 4 more. T2. Vengence on the left kill the 4 exemplar that got into me. On the right, i kill 3 errants. M2 apperates and pops feat. I catch all the bastions but 1, and about 5 exemplar. I charge in and flashing blades and kill the 3 bastions + 1 exemplar. He does try to def strike me, but misses due to being blind. I sprint away with the archidon animus. I move up the SG, cant charge anything and bring back 3 guys. Left immortals kill the objective and clear the zone of the 1 other guy in it. Despoiler runs in it. On the right, archidon kills the guys needed to free up my immortals and I charge into the Judy and do really good damage and kill a few more errants too. I score 2-0.
T3. Killing the bastions opened up a path to the SG with a unit of exemplars that I could not see with M2. Kreoss pops feat and kills a guy with the spell. exemplar charge near the SG. I kill one with defensive strike, but the other 2 with the mini feat and the feat actually leave me on just a few boxes. The other one kills 2 immortals, and with cleave and overtake gets into M2 and puts some damage on me that I transfer. The bastion seneshal charges the SG but leaves it on like 4. Choir sings damage. Judi opts to shoot. Its fewer immortals that he will kill, but he can kill the SG. I eat 2 rockets, the 2nd one kills the SG and a flamer hits 2 immortals on the left of the house and 2 on the right of the house. On the right the errants opt to try and kill the archidon and leave it on about 6-8 boxes. Gravus comes in, kills 2 immortals with impact attacks and with bought souls, put despoiler down to 8 boxes. No score 2-0 T3. He killed alot and my assumption that I could win on the right is looking good. Vengence in the middle gets 2 immortals killed to def strikes on the left do nothing and on the right the 2-3 guys left do some more chip damage to judy. Morghul charges the last of the bastions and kills them, sprints back to safety, but heals up some stuff first. Is on 1 camp. Archidon decides to be a boss and kills 4 exemplar. there are 3 left. I pull off funky charges on the judy and leave it on a few boxes. Despoiler kills gravus and I clear that zone again. Hakaar finally kills stuff and gets on the king of the hill flag. I score 2, 4-0.
t4. He's pretty wiped out at this point. 3 errants left leave the archidon on 4 boxes. Judy kills the rest of the immortals over in the middle. Kreoss2 steps up and kills despoiler. Warder gets off his ass and kills a guy. still 4-0. T4. M2 kills the judy. I clear the middle zone, contest the left zone, score the middle flag and to boot, the archidon kills the last 3 errants I score that zone too.
I win on scenario.
I like the inclusion of some variety, but blessed makes the krea worthless. Despoiler was good. Dark shroud helped to offset the AR bonus from battle driven.

Game 42. I was bring your exemplar to work day apparently. I still wanted to try out Despoiler. Zaadesh2 -Marketh -Agnozier -Krea SG 2x AG Hakaar 2x Noviate 3x immortals vs.
Kreoss2 -Judicator Gravus Bastion Senschal Warder Bastions 2x Exemplar with UA Errants with UA
Scenario was from the 2019, King of the Hill.
T1. Same as above. Judy to right, errants in middle, exemplars on the flanks. Bastions get resolve. T1. Marketh move up, harmonious. I cloud off 6 inches next to the central house and run a unit of immortals behind it. Run up the rest.
t2. Upkeeps resolve. He ops to make this wall of 4 errants thinking it will stop me by jamming. Choir sings. Judy can only see the SG. 2x rockets and I take 22 damage....not good. Exemplar on the right do nothing since there is a cloud. they back up. On the right, other exemplar get into me i lose 5 immortals. T2. Vengence kills 3 exemplar on the left, its all i get. So i clear out this half asses screen he has made, move up my caster, feat. I drop 2 clouds on the right to block LOS from the exemplar there. In goes the SG and with a thresher kills the objective, 3 bastions and 3 exemplar. I kill a few other random errants and charge in 6 immortals on the judy and do over 1/2, but its on both side, which bits me in the butt. 1-0.
t3. Kreoss feats, kills 2 guys. Choir up the judy. Rocket 1 into the SG, kills it. Yes, 3 boosted rockets killed the SG. Next rocket, Kills Hakaar....not good. 2x flame throwers kill a few immortals. On the left, I am just out of postion and he punished me for it. I dont get my def strike from the feat and I just take a ton of attacks. Again Gravus comes in and cant 1 round Despoiler. I lose about 8 immortals. right exemplar take down my objective. he scores that zone and we go 1-2.
I am getting my ass kicked at the moment. I am down to about 1/2 immortals, no Hakaar, 2 of beasts are worthless. SG is dead.
T3. vengence kills a few errants. I charge the judy with my krea. I charge it Zaddesh and kill it. I put up 2 clouds. Agnoizer moves up and uses its animus to push out 1 errant. I have 2 immortals left in the middle unit, 4 in the right unit and maybe 4 in the left. In the right, I fight exemplar. Kill 2. On the left, Despoiler decides to leave gravus dismounted on 1. I charge in an AD and dies to a single def strike, he needed 15? Happens. I score the middle, and the flag. He scores nothing. 3-2.
t4. Kreoss kills despoiler. there is 1 exemplars/warder/gravus/1 bastion on the left. Bastion charges my other SG. I kill him with a def strike. Fair is fair, but gravus kills my SG. The warder kills my UA in the middle, the exemplar on the right kill all the immortals. Choir run into the middle zone. 3-3. T4. I kill the choir with my caster, kill 1 exemplar with 1 immortal. Krea kills whatever else is near that zone. gravus and the 1 exemplar i think. problem is that on the other side of that house in the middle, is what is left of more exemplars. 4 of them. I run the agnozier into his zone. 4-2.
t5, Warder kills my last immortal. Kreoss kills the agnoizer. Exemplar move from behind the house to threaten the flag. 4-3. t5. I have a krea, my caster and marketh left. He has 4 exemplar, a warder and Kreoss 2. Its a blood bath. Krea charges into the exemplar, but doesn't kill them all. 4-4.
t6. Exemplar kill the krea. 4-5 T6. Zadesh 2 kills the exemplar I score 2, which is huge, but I am in charge range of Kreoss. 6-6.
T7. Kreoss charges in and kills Zadesh2.
Looked like a slug fest, but I was holding on for desperation. I got my ass kicked in turn 3 by super bad placement from with my caster. 4" to the left where I had that part of my army under feat, and I would have been fine.
I think that puts me 40-2.

Game 43 was part of a SCRUM Tournament, which is where you play a tourney, but over the course a few weeks. I only own Immortals, so my pairing is Zaal2/Zaadesh2. His Pairing was Anamag/Thags 2. Clouds isnt my answer, so I went with Zaal2. Scenario was Anarchy from the SR2019 Pack
Zaal2 -Mammoth SG SG AG Hakaar Abidan Noviate Soulward 2x Immortals
vs. Thagrosh2 -Angelius -Naga -Raek -Raek -Scythean -Seraph -Thypon -Succubus Forsaken Black frost shard Maybe something else?
T1. He runs up, Black Frost Shard far right into that zone. Raeks to the flanks, everything else pretty central. T1. I walk up, stay out of threat range except on the right where he is weak into that zone with only the raek, I run into it. Vision and Aura go up.
T2. This is the conundrum that a lot people I play against run into with melee armies do on T1 when I just walk up. He kinda just has to sit there. He gets up aggrivator, dragons blood on typhon, but thats about all he can do. He can charge the raek into my immortals on the right and trigger vengence, but that doesnt seem like a good plan. T2. Upkeep my 2 spells. Pop feat and charge, everything runs up but the Mammoth. Whatever support he has, I killed it. I score my flag 1-0.
T3. I am in his face, what can he do, but come forward? Thags gets up excessive healing, feats and casts manifest destiny. Angelius changes into my SG on the right. My defensive strike takes out his spirit and I vision his AP attack. In comes the Scythean, buys out full attacks, leaves me on 6. Raek charges into the immortals into that zone and does surprisingly well and drops a few. On the left, the black frost shard start with 2 ice cages and then go for a harm that stop. Naga goes for the shadowbind but doesnt get the crit. In comes Tyhpon, I def strike and do like 2 damage after healing. He leaves me on just 4. In comes the other raek, but does no damage. I score my flag, 2-0 T3. I am light on souls, I could just kill some of my own guys, but I dont think I need to. Pretty sure I can go 4-0 here and win on his turn. Noviate gives +2 str to the AG on the right. He threshers into the Scythean and Angelius. I buy out attacks with souls thanks to the ones I got from the Raek on the right and kill both. I kill the Raek. Mammoth gets a big slam on the naga, rolls insane damage and leaves it on a a few. I miscalcuated and can actually just win here. I go in corporeal and kill his objective and with vengence from Hakaar, I can score his flag too. So I score 4 this turn and win 6-0.
