Hi all,

after a short break (about 9 months) I´m going to play a tournament soon. But I don´t have any clue what the needs are. Especially the need for magic weapons.

I plan on running my all comers Rask Posse Spam which basically consists of

- Bull Snapper [0(5)]        (just a sacrificial scoring / contesting piece, sometimes a spot removal bullet)
Soul Slave
- Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)]
Bog Trog Mist Speaker [4]    (magic weapons / cloud / sacrifial pawn – just a good solo)
Feralgeist [2]
Feralgeist [2]                    (contesting / scoring)
Thrullg [0(5)]                    (magic weapons / scoring / contesting)
Bog Trog Ambushers (min) [8]    (I love them)
Gatorman Posse (min) [10]
Gatorman Posse (min) [10]

Gatorman Posse (max) [16]        (the workhorses)
Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew [2]        (just for the clouds and the occasional scoring / contesting)

I´m not sure, what I need today. I think that more Posse is always good as well as a good amount of solos just for scoring purposes. On the other hand I fear support bloat.

I had good results with the complete list posted above, therefore I could easily run it.

So what is your opinion?

I've always run Rask and friends so I can't really comment on the list itself, but in my local meta, I have to make sure my lists can handle

1) incorporeal (specifically wraith engines)

2) troop spam (normally 30+ halbediers under Elara2)

3) high armor (either Khador Armored Core or Circle's Bones under Baldur2)

and more recently we've seen a growth in high def troop spam with Crucible Guard rocketmen

If you are going Blindwater, Husks are particularly nice contesting pieces with Ambush and are tricky to remove.

I find that B2 can basically bully the board, and the posse are good with little to no extra support.
The fully loaded Boneswarm is a great trade piece to be followed up by the wrestler, and WE & SJ are good for doing there thing. ( had one game where my opponent went to hard in to killing WE that it basically won me the game)
I have played my ~10 games with this list and I am 8-1-1. the Draw was from us having to end early b/c the Shop was closing up.
Though in my meta it seems to be mostly Circle, Legion, CG, and some Ret with a few others popping up from time to time.

I would like to Rage....
