Omega. (If you didn’t get that, take your right hand and draw and omega that starts at your left shoulder moving right, while saying “Omega!” anderfreak, don’t feel bad. I chuckled. Back on Sorscha 0, I feel like we’re all waiting for Gadot for this model. I mean, really, how long does it take to sculpt and produce one mini? Hmmm... Before the Maurauder and Juggernaut nerfs, I really like spamming heavies with Karchev. I think Sorscha 0 (not to mention the Adjunct) on her own really help unlock that list. 13” of non-linear pathfinding Juggernaut threat is seriously no joke. Now put down two who can arrive still fully loaded, with boosted damage rolls. I play Butcher 3 in Winterguard now, usually with 9 rockets. Sorscha 0 is going to make that list even scarier. One question I keep asking myself is To Malakov, or Not To Malakov. The loss of other movement shenanigans in exchange for the straight +2 speed bumps and early piece trading threat is quite good.

Everyone who runs more than min jacks loves Malakov, even Karchev. It's like you've triggered RTW and boosted damage all the time on a jack, at no cost to him.

Omega. ... I mean, really, how long does it take to sculpt and produce one mini? .... About six months.

I am surprised by the amount of hate, or at best complete indifference, that Malakov1 receives from the Khador community writ large. Red Line is one of the very few ways we have to let our jacks trade 1:1 with other heavies.

If you're not running a jack theme you're trying to maximise free points, and if you're running a jack theme you run a jack caster who wants all his jacks in his battlegroup?
I've been running Andy 1 out of theme, but recently I couldn't take him because I was running Andy 2 and apparently Haley is the only one who can have temporal paradoxes...

What I wouldn’t do for this Jaws theme benefit instead of the crap we’ve got:
Extended Battlegroup: Warjacks under the control of a Battlegroup Controller or Jack Marshall are considered as being part of the warcaster’s Battlegroup for the purposes of applying abilities, spells, feats and other effects. Warjacks in the Warcaster’s Battlegroup can receive a maximum of one Power Up focus per turn.

Definitely. Him only being available in WGK for ages was odd enough, and now he's available in Jaws but everyone has come to the conclusion Jaws sucks and can only really work with a few casters with, as you say, decent battlegroup effects. Or they're waiting for S0. Or they've just switched to AC as the 'heavy' list. But he's great. I especially like him with casters like Kozlov and Strakhov1, where their feats affect the other jacks anyway

But it would be FUN. And Jaws could go from Zero to Hero in 2019.

I am surprised by the amount of hate, or at best complete indifference, that Malakov1 receives from the Khador community writ large. Red Line is one of the very few ways we have to let our jacks trade 1:1 with other heavies. I think it's that he's not easy to fit into WGK (he doesn't contribute to free points) and you may not want to take jacks out of battlegroup - my Vlad1 list would hate it as I often rely on the feat turn speed boost.
But he's good in Jaws if you're willing to try jacks out of battlegroup.
OW2 in Jaws + Malakov is really good - Effective +4 boost to damage from Redline + Curse of Shadows and a cheap Boundless Charge on feat turn to give 11" charge move. That puts a Marauder close to being able to one-round various colossals.
The harder part in Jaws is keeping him alive, as there tend to be fewer friendly bullet sponges (sorry, Khadoran patriots) around and he is an obvious, and fairly squishy, target. And yes, Jaws isn't a great theme, so there is always that opportunity cost.
