Worst rule in the game. It has come up for me exactly zero times. Its the garbage rule of garbage rules. In my sevvy2 list it made my monks harder to kill a couple times Boost to hit. Done. Also, made them more vulnerable to sprays and bounces. Which I see FAR more often.

So many ways to ignore or exploit that formation. Its a shit rule. I hate it. And its never good to use.

Girded is going to allow one unit to babysit some solos, a UA, or the caster instead of keeping a paladin or Vilmon back, if nothing else. That isn't totally dumpy, but it's an expensive baby sitting unit. I'm really hoping for Defensive Strike or allowing them to gain Vilmon's Righteous Vengeance.

CiD update.
They are now 7 points. Gain immovable object while B2B. And have shieldguard.

They seem pretty legit now. 7 points for 3 arm21 shield guards that can't be knocked down/slammed/placed is pretty good. That makes them a pretty nasty utility unit.

Ummmm...yes please?
That isn't quite Crabbit-level of shield guard (mostly because Crabbits synergize well with other mechanics in faction), but it's close.

3 units of these guys will give fits to armies relying on mid-power shooting. They are basically better trollkin warders.

But they are worse Valkaries look honestly if they gain built in vengeance I’ll be 100% satisfied I think Also Warders Do not lose Arm until 2 have died, have tough, and absorb Buffs better.

Imagine them under Harbinger with a Vessel to heal them and plenty of super solos for them to shield guard.

Until you wipe the unit because once you kill the first you might as well take advantage of them being arm 18 and then arm 15.... Now playing them with durst or cyrenia into Cygnar...well let me grab my mug for your tears sir.

As long as only one gets killed and you can bring the other one back its probably fine, but if two go down the whole unit is probably gone.
