Will be out in Feb: twitter.com/ChainAttackJayWhich means next up on CiD is a mini christmas one? (us, grymkin, khador, cryx). Don't know what else in our faction related to paladins they could add to the CiD though ...

I believe the Paladin solo... is often not the mooost popular pick, perhaps them.
If PP ties it to Faithful Masses, perhaps Tristan (thinking of the solo, with the new Sevvy0 competition)?
And tied to Tristan, since his personal warjack is a Vanquisher... Vanquishers? xD

Considering the breadth of factions involved in the CID and the fact that Wolves of Winter is getting rebalanced and the fact that it's only 2 weeks over a holiday, I am guessing the only models of ours in the CID will be the Initiates.

I agree, though Wolves of Winter is relatively small, it's already 4 factions. I don't see Dark Host needing much rebalancing as they already got a CID. I think Faithful Masses got a mini-CID with the previous Christmas edition? It's mostly a functional theme anyway. Grymkin is a mini-faction and is functioning quite well in general. Either way, it would be a lot to put into 2 weeks and the whole reason they're doing this "Christmas models" thing spread out over the year is precisely so they wouldn't have too much to handle. Steelheads being just a week after that also leads me to believe they will keep this limited.

I think they will include all paladins to CID cycle as there is a lot of interactions between that keyword but start-point is that nothing is changed.

And I cannot wait to see what they do. I like the idea of running a full pally force with Durst or Cyrenia.

The Initiates have the potential to be pretty amazing. It is hard for me to cognate how a three-woman melee offensive unit will be viable, but I am open to being surprised. FM will really appreciate being able to take Weaponmasters that aren't Forgeguard.
As much as I want them to be FA: U for the ALL PALADINS EVER army, I can't support it from a fluff standpoint (the Paladin order is small and cannot field an army on its own realistically) or a cost standpoint ($30 retail per small squad, wtf PP?!)

FA:2 seems a reasonably likelihood. Between 2 units (assume 6-9pts), 3 paladins at 4pts each, Vilmon at 6, and 2 champs at 8 each, that's 45-50pts of paladins. Maybe not a whole list, but leaves room for some support etc, or a bigger BG.
That's alot for a dying Order, according to fluff anyways.

I was hoping for more variety, considering we don't have any units that are outwardly made of both male and female models, but I guess I'll mod men into the unit. The armor is realistic enough looking (its not boob armor) that it doesn't have to change.

I appreciate the Dark Souls approach to armor design. It makes modding in either direction easy. Personally, I think they look great

No wonder the Order of the Wall is a dying order. I think PP doesn't like paladins.
