Okay, I’ll make you a deal:
I will put forth at least point one four milli-da-Vinci’s worth of effort toward taking and posting some photos of my MonPoc stuff tomorrow morning.
(In case you were wondering: we’re using one of Leonardo da Vinci’s effort days as a baseline amount of effort here.)

And then.... he finally took awful photos of models that are actually painted significantly above-average, and posted them online!
High five!
And some units!

Well, I can confidently say that it was worth the wait! The Protectors look great, the deep shading around the panel lines gives them a really bold look. I like the Destroyers, the brass looks really nice and the greens really pop! I will say that Gorghadra looks a touch flat next to Defender X; might just be the photos though.

Gorghadra is a bit flatter than Defender X, but the discrepancy you see here is chiefly due to the fact that I take atrocious photographs. I can take competition-level models and make them look like...uh...not competition-level models. (Also, my local store has terrible lighting. It’s all harsh CFL bulbs. That doesn’t help.) I did go very bold on the panel lines, especially in the orange areas on the G-Tanks. I might have gone slightly bolder than required, but these things are tiny, and hey, it works! Anyway... Thanks for the compliments!

Well! I bought two more Planet Eater blisters. Now I can loan a minimum-size Planet Eater army to someone.

I am really hoping that some of the senior guys from my meta bring it to the store. Not that I have time to play much this year, but that seems like my best shot at playing it right now.

It's just landed at my FLGS. Now I need to see if anyone else is playing it in my area Be the change you want to see! Insert inspirational poster here! It’s only about $150 to get two monsters and 30 units. That is enough for two players to play a 1 monster size game.

Woo!
Thus far we’ve had about a dozen participants in the release party at the store today! That is pretty good considering there’s a huge Halloween parade blocking off traffic on the road about a mile in each direction!

Our first MonPoc tournament is happening this Saturday! We purportedly have people driving all the way from Indianapolis (so, 2 hours) to play!
I’m looking forward to giving away that awesome PP HQ building!
